22/3/2024 09:27 | Might as well compare it to AAPL and TSLA whilst at it then You forgot to compare global shorting of the sector v aerospace and defence | vlad the impaler
22/3/2024 09:23 | Being a value contrarian can be painful. Two years ago BT were valued at £20bn, RR at $5bn. Recently BT collapsed to £10bn, RR now £34bn. Wow, so I switched on value grounds. A bit early from RR, but no complaints, I did well. I think BT are in a similar position to RR pre Covid. Spending lots of cash, a bloated workforce and lots of pensioners who live to be 130 years of age. Things could get dramatically better here in the future, and we are still profitable now. The trials of a private investor, it drives us nuts. | careful
22/3/2024 09:13 | As we said, sector ended yesterday Shorters will rack up more in 110.55s | vlad the impaler

22/3/2024 08:53 | This is BTs share price before covid... £2.30 I think we can beat that... with a new high of £3.00 | netcurtains

22/3/2024 08:44 | isis: "windfall" - Profits would need to be insanely high, in which case I dont think any of us will be worrying about windfall tax, we'd be loaded long before then... just look at Apple investors over past 20 years.. 😀😀 | netcurtains
22/3/2024 08:34 | Yeah but, if profits do roll in then - windfall Taxes! Don't see Apple etc getting those do ya.......hmmm | isis
22/3/2024 08:32 | Pre covid this was about 220.... So with the profits starting to roll in from the broadband/fibre rollout I would expect this to peak at about £3.00 at someone point in next 12 months... I know that is over 100% rise... So what? | netcurtains
22/3/2024 08:07 | RR was a dog at 60p a very nice dog who asked us to buy it | thanatos abysss

21/3/2024 23:35 | Nasty shorting in this sector. Earnings outlooks must be poor. They can't see debt getting paid without a massive future dilution | institutional investments |
