diku: If you use charts to invest then it can drive worthless junk like bitcoin higher and higher but that does not mean its gambling... It could be considered sensible investing.. Perhaps its bad investing if you look at such things as profit and dividends in a world driven by charts...

Idiots buying, look at Bitcoin, drive prices higher.
Even if the underlying asset is worthless.

For all of them to make that decision of such magnitude does not sound right and why would they all follow eachother like Lemmings?
And why wasn't something said before about this? Seems crazy.

It's not their money, they don't care. They win both ways, if the short goes well that get bonus, if it goes wrong they still get their salary

@net, why would anyone want to buy shares listed in a country where the great unwashed are stupid enough to vote for self harming brexit, net outflows every year since 2016, nobody to buy the shares, maths and facts I’m afraid. As for BT, it’s not undervalued, it’s a shxt debt ridden over regulated company and the new CEO will cut the dividend in half “ to pay for growth “, haha yawn. Terminal like U.K. plc and sterling in general. Tories have fkt the U.K.

I mentioned the CEO of Currys being on BBC Radio 4 this morning talking about the rubbish valuations on the FTSE...
Its done Currys share price some good this morning...
The implication is the CEO of BT could do worse than going on BBC and complain about the FTSE..... Complain appears to work.

It wouldn't be so bad if we could get something near Fair Value but on top of the malaise we are being shorted until the pips squeak as they know unless there is a bid no one is buying.

Idiots buying, look at Bitcoin, drive prices higher.
Even if the underlying asset is worthless.

These clowns walk around with stupid grins their faces thinking they are wealthy.

But as soon s just a small % of them try to cash in this fantasy non existent wealth, the prices collapse.
It was an illusion, a zero sum game.

Look at the Gamestop farce, the dot com collapse, Tulipmania nd the South Sea Bubble.
