No doubt the UK markets have taken some pain in recent times but BT at least has invested in its future with OpenReach, pension deficit already halved and on track, and operational cost controls through shedding some of its staff over the next three years.

I think there comes a time where this draws a line in the sand and begins to bear fruit from this level.

nobody buys telecoms anymore ffs, look at them over 3,5,10 years, just dire, same sort of chart as sterling, these are fukt, as is brexit basket case uk in general. Expect a big dividend cut shortly as the debt and pension costs expand. Terminal.
