And now with its yield looking like a total basket case, and markets expectation for it to be back at 0%, there is zero case for it now

Traditional safehaven? In 25 years, the only time this got cash was when every other pig did as well re quantitative easing

I have a 278p target on BT. Maybe this is the catalyst we need to commence the journey north.

If the market are expecting a turbulent year, I expect cash to pile into the traditional safe-havens like BT.

Elliot recently bought a big slice of ETSY (see press reports)...
I wonder if they will somehow link ETSY to CURRY (That would be totally weird but wonderful)

In summary, and post analysis, inside deals call as many short positions as buys

Before the financial crisis, check the numbers of director buys at and near highs

Hilarious

Or just get a 3rd party fund to do it. Doesn't really matter

There are over 60 ways to signal market via inside buys without cost

Yiu know net, they don't really lose money. Not the smart ones anyway . It's pretty easy not to

Easiest way, Simply buy what you want and legally cfd cover the loss , via margin, always running net zero re covering holdings move

I think the director buy was simply a liquidity creator for dumping, or simply bad judgement

Suspect the former, unless market dim and therefore shouldn't be in the job

Balance sheet item.... load of nonsense... Take the money...
BT save on the business rates too and heating and lighting....

Its all profit, no downside..

Although of course BT might use the money to bid for something - for cash......
