In the last fall people said:
"The problem is BTs pension deficit, they need HIGH-INTEREST rates to make the pension deficit "disappear".

Now we have high-interest rates and the share price goes down....

Do you know? I think the market hasn't got a clue.

I have.

Why is this being held in a very tight trading range, bearing in mind the Frenchman bought at 1.83??

Diku 427....yes quite likely although getting there is seemingly quite a challenge
more likely to see £1.70 in short term with more to play out with Russia that will affect the markets i suspect

With the proposed ballot and strike action impending, do we know that from Mr Jansen, he told employees that anything less than 10% pay rise would be like a wage cut? Or that comparative employees at both BT and EE have wage differences of £10-15kp.a? I know for sure that some want parity on this. And lastly, why should a low performing employee receive let's say a 9% rise while top performing employees receive the equivalent of 3%? A £1500 rise with a "one cap fits all" is not all it's cracked up to be irrespective of how generous it seems. And I believe those are the reasons for rejecting the offer and proposing ballot action and on the interim, having negative effects on the share price
