how does that help monty?

Peoples' internet is fixed price. Increased usage just increases electricity use by BT.

mobile Phones? Same, inclusive minutes, and people working from home will use online collaberation tools.

Why do BT have to replace equipment?

If they are under 35% there is no problem - just buy other equipment.

If they are over 35%, sue the Government for changing the goal-posts after the event.

BT PE is low. Rumours in market that it will cut divi by 30%. and cashflow may improve in 2022. DT may offload its stack now as they expanded in USA.BT stack from DT may go to predator which could be positive for share price.DYOR.

It's the 'fear' factor.

People will limit activity where there are crowds, sports venues, cinemas, shopping malls !

For some reason if markets go up BT still has pension deficit problem...if markets go down it has pension deficit problem...has anybody asked what are the insiders doing?...it seems BT is the only company in the whole wide world with pension deficit attached to it permanently like super glue...

bt don't need a cc offering, ANY business can activate remote access with appropriate software.

Remind me how many matches have been cancelled here?

None yet, but it will happen.

montyhedge, 1) BT reports in sterling but has significant operations abroad. Stating it's a sterling earner implies it has no dependencies abroad. Since most telco equipment is bought from abroad, weaker Stirling will also impact negatively.

[...] People will still pay their internet.

Yeah, so what, it doesn't increase revenue. Your point?
