Buying for divi at higher price and then seeing it go down down deeper deeper down is becoming a mugs game...anybody who bought around 400p on the way down from 500p thinking at least they getting a good divi...and seeing the price today around 150p how do they feel?...and if the company cuts the divi to bare minimum then that 400p buy yield will be much lower and they are locked in for a good while...

monty - Keep saying it, one day you may believe it!
BT's largest obligation is it's Pension fund deficit.
In a nutshell BT is pension fund that owns a telecoms company.
Not terminal, BA was in an identical situation a few years back.

Good finish for BT, in this risk off market. Rotation out of oil, airlines, travel, into telcos and tech any day now boys.
