Maybe divi cut news has leaked via brokers...the next big down move if were to happen will take it down to 110 - 120p...prolonging divi cut and shareholder value is eroded by the day...are the insiders any wiser...the CEO always leaves laughing all the way to his Bank...wake up and smell the coffee...mugs game..

Maybe investors are getting nervous about Q3 results at end of month?

Careful, best to firstly understand the effects of a strategy. For example, a decision to hold lots of cash restricts the opportunities to exploit situations, it doesn't enable them as you stated.

It's a cash cow, they can maintain the dividend no problem. But even a cut still way above the Ftse100 median.

Monty, unfortunately, went bullish on them.

Worry not, he may be an Uber bear in half an hour, and then it will recover.

I have a money tree.
It is called the stock market.

But be warned, you need the skill to know where the low hanging fruit lurks.
Too dangerous for most.

Monty you really have no idea re the dividend, honestly you don’t. They should cut, use it to pay down debt and try and grow under a new (better than that other useless tosspot) CEO.

My investment strategy demands a high % cash holding.
This allows me exploit opportunities when they occur.

Careful , the terms looked to favour BT with a little reward for making the vision take place.

Careful - Ofcom announced their plans last week, which BT welcomed. The link was posted on this thread last week.

How many does the CFO hold now?. There was reportedly some criticism about his modest holding previously.

Just topped up here.
Surprised that there was not a relief bounce after the election.
The plans of Corbyn would have crushed the share price if he had won.

There are remaining risks, BT do not exactly know yet how they will fit in with the Tories big broadband promises.

Will BT be forced to invest heavily into fibre, will they be allowed a decent return?
Maybe they will be forced to hand over BT assets to competitors at low prices.

Enough to worry about, but hoping it is all in the price. Todays price assumes the worst possible outcome.

Maybe for pensions, good news for consumers, more money to spend.
I think the figures will surprise to the upside and dividend paid in full.

StocksTracker. Most followed stock requires artificial intelligence.

Wow, AI has really moved on. Here was me thinking all you need to do is just count the page views by stock or by stock/user.

AI will take over the world at this rate.
