Hmmm free internet. Well I have internet and it comes with a phone line. Cant be bothered plugging in a phone though.

Bt turn over 24B. Virgin 20B. Talktalk 2B. Few other small players so I figure free internet will need about 60B per year in tax.

It'll need some additional non jobs once labour in charge so let's call it 200B per year in tax.

I'm tempted to vote labour. It'll be hilarious watching the show.

A nervous time over the next 2 days.
A hung parliament will cause chaos again.
A coalition government led by Corbyn and Sturgeon does not bear thinking about.


Without intending to do it, I have compiled a portfolio which is in effect, by accident, a huge bet on a Tory victory.
Any other result will cost me a fortune.

It is obvious that anyone who in the top 15% by income or net worth will be crushed over the next few years.

Punish success, reward failure.

Whilst the share price seems to be retreating, doubtlessly due to the polls suggesting the Tory lead is slipping slightly, the Bookies remain convinced of a comfortable Conservative victory.

Best Tory price for Most Seats is 1/20; a majority is 4/9, with best guess at number of seats at 341.

You don’t often see a poor bookmaker, as they are normally right, even if they haven’t a great record at politics for the past 3 or 4 years.

Markets are going to be very twitchy over the next few days. Latest ICM poll has cut the Tory lead to six points, though the Poll of Polls has their overall lead at ten points. Looking forward to the Exit poll at 10.00pm on Thursday...
