The encouraging thing for shareholders director and his wife, bought 600,000 pounds worth at 204p in December.I don't care how much money you have no one throws money away. He knows the company better than us, getting in 11p below him not a bad deal.

Seems a reasonable statement to me from the new ofcom lady. Instead of Dame (or whatever she got for her near destruction of a great british company) Sharon, who was imv anti-bt, we seem to have a sensible regulator who wants openreach to produce a reasonable profit while also generating fair competition for them. So bt will invest and get rewards, as will the competition. Less bt bashing by ofcom in the future it seems to me.

Change in tone there, may as well of said BT, go forth, and release your potential we've taken away the roadblocks. They actually did say part of that, so now it's just a question of where the emphasis is. And to invest, yes you do need to be strong and profitable (or a market darling), that's how it works. Just don't cheat and play fair while your at it.

Did not expect Trump to strike, spooking the markets. But sterling domestic will outperform. BT top of the list.

After your last '205 by Monday' guesstimate I see you've changed to 'soon to be 205' Monty. You've got much more chance with this one as you haven't mentioned a date.Keep throwing those guesses out there, you'll probably get one right one day.
