24/10/2018 13:16 | Monty. 5G only a software upgrade??? Jeeez!!! Best short in the FTSE eh? QED. | hamhamham1
24/10/2018 12:53 | I believe 5G will require more street furniture i.e. masts, as the signal only works over very short distances. This plays into BT's hands as they are the only ones with sufficient street presence and funded assets - all paid by us the tax payers. | thehearse
24/10/2018 12:27 | Should not be allowed! CityFibre should be made to invest in rural areas not cherry pick high volume and profit locations. Unfair competition? | pacemaker1000
24/10/2018 12:26 | Heard a analyst say 5g is just a software update not hardware. So costs kept down, interesting if that is the case. | montyhedge
24/10/2018 12:24 | I sense there will be white smoke appearing sometime soon. | thehearse
24/10/2018 11:07 | Nice bounce in the share price today, up 7p. | nige co

18/10/2018 15:47 | obviously one big hedge fund buys in, the others close shorts or follow. Sentiment over fundamentals imo | kmann
18/10/2018 15:34 | Get up there. Go BT! | eaaxs06
17/10/2018 22:56 | "The dips seem to be bringing the buyers into the market, which certainly hasn't been the case very much over the past 3 years." An indication of reaching strong support. | eodfire
17/10/2018 21:47 | With wholly uncharacteristic good timing my BT holding is currently up a full 14%, to which must be added hefty dividend receipts. BT's been a good investment for me (so far) and I think it could turn into a great one. There's a huge amount of potential upside. I wish I could claim that this was all down to my unique flair and unsurpassed analytical capabilities. But no, I got lucky for once and bought on a hunch on just about the very best day for buying. Very nice 'to get lucky for once' ... for once. | saltraider
17/10/2018 13:50 | I'm for a slow steady recovery i'm only down 5.68% now B/E @ 257.27 :) | smurfy2001
17/10/2018 13:47 | Good to see BT has stabilised in the lower 240 range, I was fearful that last weeks’ good work could have been wasted with a bad day or two.The dips seem to be bringing the buyers into the market, which certainly hasn't been the case very much over the past 3 years. Next (mini) challenge is to top the 252.15p high from early May, with a close above 249.45p, that should be possible in the next 2 weeks as we run up to the interim figures on Nov 1st. If that gets broken, we could be targeting 279, or even the glaring gap to 313 from August 17, possibly by the end of the year. A touch hopeful maybe, but you never know? Good luck everyone, Sid. | eaaxs06
17/10/2018 12:59 | DIPSO..in that case I d take it!!!!!!!! | chapchip
17/10/2018 12:44 | I think you can safely say the multi year downtrend has been reversed. You only have to look at the market sell off last week BT actually rose . Still some 30p to go to break even on my Cfds . Hope there is a Santa rally ! | meb123
17/10/2018 12:35 | there are set rules regarding how much corbyn would need to pay, based on share price over recent years. I suspect the price would be nearer £3.80 than todays price. | dipso
17/10/2018 12:25 | I would happily vote labour if the want my shares for 380p lol | meb123
