19/4/2018 14:01 | On a positive note...........with inflation falling....should be reduction in RPI...the 'army' of pensioners may not receive such generous increases, as has been the case of late! | dmf

18/4/2018 18:02 | Yes, 300 is possible if ofcom and the government decide they actually want the U.K. to have a better broadband infrastructure. Also, if deficit is down to 7bn and staff vote to close DB scheme and results are good. As they say on Bullseye...'thatR | pacemaker1000

17/4/2018 13:04 | DMF, unfortuneately I don't quite qualify on the capital front. Ironically if BT were to rise to around 275p I would just make it.I can't take the chance of increasing my position too much in order to bring that figure down in case the share price goes in the other direction. I'm already basing my position on the higher margin rates as I don't want to be forced to sell at a loss otherwise I'd be in bigger already. | clair_voyant
17/4/2018 08:33 | clair_voyant To obviate the margin rules, why don't you apply for professional status and retain your existing margins ?? I would imagine Metalsguru may be considering this option ?? | dmf
16/4/2018 20:56 | I think the signs are there that BT has turned the corner and that the only way is up from here. Now is the time to increase my SB as I almost did after that false dawn on the Ofcom announcement some weeks ago. I would like to do a Metalsguru and go up to £5,000/pt but that would be a bit risky with these increased margin rules due in July so I hope to take it to £3,000/pt from the present £1,500/pt. GL all longs, see you at 320p in July :-)) | clair_voyant

14/4/2018 09:13 | Agree Shanieboy1 but the rise is welcome! Let's see what the Q4 results on 10 May provide, it may be a little too early to provide an update on the Pension deficit situation as GP has previously stated the review would not be completed until mid year. | toon1966
