Id appreciate a topline view on this one from the advfn faithful. Happy to hear from objective and disgruntled investors alike.Already in ANIC and thinking about adding this vehicle. |
its good to know your money is paying for Che plus one's next jolly |
Great post |
It's a punt but I've had a few on that, well beaten down, just a nibble, maybe the tide has turned.
Sartorius AG is an international pharmaceutical and laboratory equipment supplier, covering the segments of Bioprocess Solutions and Lab Products & Services. In September 2021, Sartorius has been admitted to the DAX, Germany's largest (Blue chip) stock market index.[2] As a leading partner to the biopharmaceutical research and industry, Sartorius supports its customers in the development and production of biotech drugs and vaccines - from the initial idea in the laboratory to commercial production. Sartorius conducts its operating business in the two divisions Bioprocess Solutions and Lab Products&Services. The divisions bundle their respective businesses according to the same application areas and customer groups. The divisions share some of the infrastructure and central services
mcap E16bn, that to me is a bit more interesting. |
The market likes the tie-up. Moved from bottom drawer to the 9th drawer. |
Very oversold

Best hope is the leather imho. Large fashion houses taking an interest. |
![](https://images.advfn.com/static/default-user.png) Expecting news on these soon.
· Lab Grown Leather (LGL): LGL is revolutionising the leather industry as the world's only producer of fully lab-grown, scaffold-free leather. This unique method creates 100% real leather without synthetic additives of 'scaffolds', ensuring unparalleled quality. Recently, the company delivered additional samples for a major global luxury goods company's development programme and is preparing to supply samples to a luxury automotive manufacturer. Notably, three of the five most valuable luxury brands are now engaged in development programmes with us.
· 3D Bio Tissues: Following the update in September, 3DBT successfully commenced the soft launch of its new CytoBoostTM media additive, receiving significant interest from multiple biopharma companies, research facilities and biotech SMEs. Feedback from initial partners in our "Research with Us" program has been overwhelmingly positive, having seen improvements in their cell growth characteristics. In particular, the use of CytoBoostTM in reviving cells following thaw from cryostorage has been well received. The use of City MixTM continues to expand in terms of repeat orders and successful cell types tested and being used by third parties. A Korean cultivated meat company has successfully completed its second round of testing and is now moving forward with the production of its cells into larger bioreactors. Meanwhile, City-mixTM is now in the latter stages of a tech transfer assessment by a leading UK-based cultivated meat company to be a key component in their in-house reduced-cost media formulation. |
Yep. What a disappointment. I'm down 95% |
The appointment of rfk to health sec will be the death knell for frankenfoods and thank goodness for that? |
It was a ramp piece ahead of an attempted placing. But the shares didn't move and hence the placing never happened. Co needs to deliver some commercial traction. No share price interest til then |
All very lacklustre. Basically just a science project. Been a big disappointment |
But how many times have we been here before with the 'positive' interviews promising jam on the back of a Myles special? Probably just on a jolly to Paris like the one to New York last year that produced the square root of jack, talking it up for a fundraiser? |
![](https://images.advfn.com/static/default-user.png) Volume picking up again. Worth listening to Sunday Roast interview. Major fashion house talks in Paris with news soon regarding leather and sales of City mix in the millions on the cards. Things might finally be about to happen and at this mcap it's a no brainer imho. Good summary by Myles Mcnulty on Twitter.
Myles McNulty @MylesMcNulty
Afternoon Charles, a decent write up on #BSFA 👏
Follows on from a really informative interview on @RoastPR over the weekend.
The UK markets are currently unforgiving, and will completely ignore comapnies just talking the talk. Story stocks like BSF need to to deliver on promises, need to actually walk the walk.
We need to start seeing revenue generation from sales of City-Mix and its new sister product, Cyto-Boost.
City-Mix for leather production and cultivated meat production; Cyto-Boost for the biopharma sector.
Nevertheless, it was promising to hear about possible near-term City-Mix sales, in the weekend interview:
"As we're moving closer to the first contract to supply (City-Mix), the amounts that they're going to need are huge - you're looking at multi-million-pound annual gross profits, just from that one (cultivated meat) company"
It was even more promising to hear that the team were in Paris this weekend just gone, meeting "one of the largest fashion houses in the world...." (which they say is a different one to their existing partner in the space).
So they've been working with - or are in commercial discussions with - at least two out of Hermes, Kering, LVMH, etc.
To note: Agronomics' investee company, GALY -which creates cultivated cotton - is valued at $100m, after its raise this month. Another ANIC investee company, VitroLabs - which also produces cultivated leather (but which requires plant scaffolds, unlike BSFA) - was valued at $128m, after its May 2022 raise.
These are the closest peers to BSF's 100%-owned subsidiary, Lab Grown Leather Ltd.
BSFA's mkt cap is currently $5m. Land a contract with a major fashion house, and there is no reason that LGL shouldn't be aiming for similar valuations (i.e. 20-25x uplift from BSF's current mkt cap). And that's just for 1 out of 4 of BSF's business lines.
BSF has been a terrible hold over the past 20 months (I should have exited within 2 months of entry, for +200% after that first major run up!) - but I'm confident it'll turn soon enough.

Only thing this company will ever produce is fairytale jam. And even that will be tomorrow. |
I think this is going to go ballistic soon with regards to the leather. |
Just rubbing my eyes. Is that really a 15% rise?? |
Bit of interest returning. Reminder that Geoff Baker bought almost 1m shares not long ago at a 60% premium to today. Oversold. |
Slowly drifting away. |
Lots of interest........lets hope so! |
