Britvic valuation ‘undemanding’, says Berenberg
Soft drinks maker Britvic (BVIC) has delivered record cashflow, putting the company in a strong position to navigate rising costs, according to Berenberg.
Analyst Ashton Olds reiterated his ‘buy’ recommendation and target price of £10.50 on the stock, which closed up 1.6%, or 15p, at 907p on Monday.
‘Britvic’s full-year 2021 results were solid, delivering a record level of free cashflow despite the challenging operating environment,’ he said.
‘With the impacts of movements restrictions now fading, Britvic is on the front foot as it looks to navigate the mid to high-single-digit cost inflation.’
Olds said high visibility on the cash base for the next year and a ‘multitude of levers at its disposal’ means management is ‘confident of continued margin growth’.
‘With Britvic trading on an undemanding full-year price-to-earnings ratio of 16x with a three-year earnings compound annual growth rate of 14%, we reiterate our “buy” recommendation,’ said Olds. |

Initially liked but having the cr@p kicked out of it now. |
Final results reads well. Increase of 12 percent to dividend shows confidence in future expectations. Decrease in debt to 2019 levels is also a positive sign. Hopefully the market will like this morning. |

I suspect for many companies these shortages, real or otherwise, are just a way /opportunity for them to increase prices ahead of the published rpi figures. |
how many bottles of tango you after , i have a few cases left if anyone is interested |
Tango orange is one of the nations favourite drinks according to britvic website, well it’s been out of stock everywhere for 4 weeks and in more than one supermarket for about 8 weeks, try buying online now you can’t, that’s why you have a downgrade there a profit warning in the pipeline imho I Might be wrong but if you want to see how a company is doing go buy and try the products and at the moment you can’t buy them, they are not alone there are lots missing off the shelves, it makes me wonder how long till the supermarkets start warning all imho dyor |
