monty keep quiet she might hear :):) |
hi im so nervy about this...my best share ever this after years of utter carp ...just worried about sudden fall and being bitten on @rse but this divvis is spectacular which keeps me invested. |
Ex div not long now, 26th September.Another 58.88p in the isa tax free bag. At least Robber Reeves can't touch that dividend. |
Nice rise into the close in NY by PM,MO and BAT with end of the month repositioning by funds.Could see a nice rise again Monday if index futures look positive after the weekend. |
Interesting article boys.https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/heat-not-burn-tobacco-products-market-to-grow-by-usd-91-26-billion-2024-2028-driven-by-cost-effectiveness-ais-role-in-market-transformation--highlighted-in-technavio-report-302231565.html |
looking positive |
Looking really positive for a challenge of 2900 now in advance of the next divi.
Have moved my top up price by 50p to 2750 as I think after the next divi dip we will set a path towards a crack at 3,000. Could even come sooner as this broadening out gathers pace.
Good luck all 👍🏻 |
Just read a report by Technavio on heat not burn products forecast 2024 to 2028, for tobacco companies, wow.Sorry can't post it. |
Breaking out of bull flag atm let's hope for a nice blue day |
Less than 1% of bats |
This announcement has made Starmer look like an out of control authoritarian. Nanny state gone mad.It will be dropped within a week, by Labour, such a backlash, hospitality, pubs etc are fuming. |
It's great - people are getting stabbed, boats are free to land with thousands of immigrants but hey ho it's ok Labour will cut pensioners winter fuel allowance, pay off their union mates and install a smoking ban.Has someone not told them the real issues this country is facing |
Never go through, hospitably sector would face more closures, even Farage said he would not go to the pub again, lol |
Fortunately the domestic market is a small % of the global business, but IF this proposal goes forward, I cannot see enough votes getting behind it, nanny state, there will be plenty of rebels, worth also noting that NZ have overturned their smoking ban last year, they need the tax receipts.. |
But then in comes Starmer with his announcement today on a possible public smoking ban. Eek |
looking tentatively as if it's taking another leap upwards |
Jeffries has a price target 3500p, that's where we were a couple of years ago. I think 3000p will be of course the next big resistance level. In the meantime while we wait collecting 58.88p every 13 weeks. |
Plus I can see a cup n handle forming |
On top of a weekly bull flag plus if you draw a line on the downward side it's breaking out slightly |
Should push on towards 2855p, now 2800p resistance broken. Tech gone quiet, rotation into high yielders with good cash flow perhaps. |
2808 UT at the close, a FED rate decision 18th September with a 1st cut widely expected now and getting priced in with the weaker USD, just 4 weeks to our next XD on 26.09.2024, 2800 could lead to 2900 and hopefully onto 3000 for year end.. :o) |
Yeah selling off big tech ahead of Nvidia earnings tonight and a run to safer havens maybe??
I hold Nvidia and expect good figures from Jensen later but am not surprised really by the sell off ahead of the results. Seen it happen before then it just keeps climbing.
Great for BATS though at a close above 2800 now let's hold it tomorrow.
Good luck all 👍🏻 |
