12/3/2010 13:20 | I bought back in yesterday. Only a small amount. This is ludicrously cheap. | papillon
11/3/2010 12:48 | Some of the buys were mine, certainly not a few million, have enough now and will let the situation develop. | jotoha2
11/3/2010 10:09 | Dont believe they were PIs.There has been a bit of volume over past few days so I would guess Eurogold have mopped up another few million - and why would they not when they are getting get them for 35% of what they originally bought them for | linney3
10/3/2010 20:59 | Great thanks for that, do you think they were just purely speculative Buys? | tamboerskloof
10/3/2010 20:31 | The actual sell figure was the 1.6million.The spike occured for approx ten minutes when the spread went to .7 - .8 but with the sell they brought the bid back to .6. So effectively there were 3.3million buys - and at prices I am envious at! | gluefactory
10/3/2010 19:30 | Buys 370,000 - Sells 4,904,228 strange set of volumes to-day, it's very difficult to confirm whether Sells are in actual fact Sells and Buys are in actual fact Buys when dealing in fractions of a penny I can only assume that ADVFN have recorded correctly. The share price actually moved up three tenths of a penny at one stage it went BLUE! didn't last long though, I strongly suspect like you Glue that an announcement is not too far away either. | tamboerskloof
10/3/2010 19:04 | Post 2450 refers. The other party should read Allied Properties Resources - and they have had a long term involvement with Gunzberg. At one time they were 49% owners of Eurogold, and I assume still are major shareholders. Good volume today and yesterday,so I assume they are picking up whatever is available in the marketplace at ludicrous cheap price. My guess is this whole bag of worms is coming to a conclusion in the not too distant future | gluefactory
10/3/2010 00:33 | aka Gluefactory.Eurogold | linney3
09/3/2010 12:45 | Dont think there are many smiley faces on this thread - including myself! | linney3
06/3/2010 00:13 | This purchase of Dragon shares rather than using the money to do what it was intended for (mining), was done deliberately knowing that 'investment' companies are valued at a huge discount to assets. This enable the crooks to do their usual fleecing of small shareholders and acquire mining assets and cash for next to nothing. I said it before and I'll say it again. Anyone found guilty of this crime should be prosecuted, but of course nothing will happen, and certainly not in the UK which is a criminal's paradise nowadays. | corrientes
05/3/2010 21:12 | Chris, Yep I know, one consolation PG is an ex Stockbroker and has the ability to turn this one around my main concern is where will the axe fall, he is not going to be out of pocket, will he take us all with him or will we get dumped for as you suggested a pittance at 0.01p - will a new company be formed? Brinkley Gold Plc - will we be offered a 1 for 1 Eurogold intergration or simular - will we all end up intergrated into Dragon Mining, I dont know but like you I been here so long and experienced the decline I have no other option than to reach the finish line, where, when, how, with whoever. | tamboerskloof
05/3/2010 18:24 | i though that they had to pay the highest price paid over the last 12 months | johnstonp
04/3/2010 11:38 | Thats fine, trust you found the above link and posts useful, BRMs main and only investment is with dragon Mining, patience is the answer with this one, welcome aboard all the same. | tamboerskloof
04/3/2010 11:10 | Tamboerskloof - greetings and tx for pointing out my EPIC error which I have amended. As it happens I funded the BRM buy from proceeds of selling some BHR shares - hence the error. | maytrees
03/3/2010 22:54 | Good price for a none core asset. Which would give them $20m cash and 75,000 oz production in 2010. Dragon looks like a good company to me, particularly compared to some of the gold producing companies on AIM. Not bad cash cost levels, as well. I thought BRM had 93,593,721 shares, but according to the Dragons latest Presentation it's 101m? (93,593,721 DRAGON MINING shares @ 0.089 = A$8.33m (£5m) or 1.4p a share £1m cash or 0.28p a share) Just underlines Brinkley's really bad PR to date. You would of thought there would at least be a RNS with the Dragon news. | doji star
03/3/2010 21:28 | DRAGON MINING LIMITED Positioned for Growth Zurich Conference It's worth a read, just copy and paste the above link, also a pic of the young Peter G. | tamboerskloof
03/3/2010 21:11 | ASX ANNOUNCEMENT 03 MARCH 2010 OPTION GRANTED TO PURCHASE DRAGON MINING'S INTEREST IN THE ZARA GOLD PROJECT, ERITREA Dragon Mining announces it has granted an option to Chalice Gold Mines Limited ("Chalice") to purchase the Company's 20% interest in the Zara Gold Project, Eritrea for a total consideration of up to $16.2million. Chalice can exercise the option anytime up until 30 June 2010 by paying $8 million cash and issuing to Dragon Mining 2 million Chalice shares (current market value of $0.8 million) with an escrow period of 12 months. In addition, Chalice has agreed to pay a further $4 million cash to Dragon Mining on the delineation of 1 million ounces of gold Reserves at the Zara Gold Project. Further, Dragon Mining will be relieved of any debt to Chalice at the completion of the Bankable Feasibility Study which is estimated to be $3.4m. Managing Director Peter Cordin comments: "The completion of the option for the sale of the interest in the Zara Gold Project further enhances the Company's cash position and gives the flexibility to grow the Company and enhance shareholder value. The disposal of the non core asset will give Dragon Mining an immediate cash benefit and also allow the continued participation in the upside of the Zara Gold Project through the Chalice shares and with the expected delineation of additional ounces." Dragon Mining is well funded and focussed on increasing the Reserves and mine life of its existing gold mines in Sweden and Finland. The Company is finalising an evaluation for underground mining at the Svartliden Gold Mine, Sweden and is preparing a new resource for the Kujankallio deposit at the Jokisivu Gold Mine, Finland based on the results of an infill drilling completed in 2009. For and on behalf of Dragon Mining Limited | tamboerskloof
03/3/2010 20:14 | you gotta be brave for this one, haven't done much research but anyone who wants to change my mind is welcome. Would love to see an upside. DC | daicaprice
03/3/2010 20:07 | maytrees --- Beacon Hill Resources (BHR) are you on the right BB as Brinkley Mining PLC is (BRM). I assume the above is a typo error, to-day was a strange day for trades as some major sells went through coupled with a few large buys, I dont have a clue what is going on with this stock all I do know is that it keeps going down LOL, I have to laugh to keep sane, of course we all hope that a satisfactory outcome prevails, I'm not too sure what linneys above post was about but there may be news sooner rather than later. | tamboerskloof
03/3/2010 15:13 | Speculatively SIPPed a few BRM at 0.67p in the wake of the unexplained 18%+ share price fall | maytrees
02/3/2010 10:15 | Trading halt note mentions securities held at pre-open state pending a company annoucement. so its a bit vague. does coincide with the leaving of a director so maybe that has something to do with it. We should find out 3 march, tommorrow at the latest so just speculation until then. | rokkie
02/3/2010 10:04 | Rookie. Thanks for the post. The Dragon announcement relates to a sale of an asset though. If it were the discovery of a new mine the announcement would have had a different wording imo | linney3 |
