14/5/2010 14:08 | Not me, norbus Last week I phoned around to see if I could get another million at 1.25p, but no chance... | the analyst
14/5/2010 13:04 | TA are you tickling the stock? | norbus
12/5/2010 22:41 | I'm very confident in the managements ability to raise funds. More importantly, I feel that if they do need to raise more funds, then they will continue to do so at or above the nominal value of the shares Having discussed the business and funding issues with the management (at great length) during the last two AGMs, I still feel that they really do want to create value for ALL shareholders My personal view is that one more fundraising will see them through to break-even | the analyst
12/5/2010 20:19 | In the world of AIM it is often not being able to raise more funds that kills off companies. I think we are past most of the uncertainty now. There is clearly a market. We have got a strong technical team. We are getting some good exposure and we have a sound model (I think it is safe to assume we are still firmly after the premium sites)...So it is not such a gamble for investors (and hopefully banks) to pump money into the operation...All we need is confirmation of how loud the tills are ringing...As above, the fact that they are growing the team suggests to me that things are going well and that money is not a limiting factor...you dont recruit when you are down to your last penny and you certainly dont recruit if your workload can be dealt with by existing employees...Im very positive about this recent spate of recruiting... | carl79
12/5/2010 17:27 | if they do need more money, they stand a good chance of getting it... words of wisdom Carl. well said M8. | norbus
12/5/2010 16:25 | I think that whilst it would be great for them to get everything boxed off before they need more cash, the positive is that if they do need more money, they stand a good chance of getting it... Hiring more staff does not strike me as the actions of a company quickly running out of funds / running out of avenues to acquire funds...this is what i see as positive anyway...I agree that the sooner V2 is launched the better becasue our competition are not hanging about! | carl79
12/5/2010 09:21 | Happy to see the two main posters bullish. ,may we live to see both V2 and B/E before the money runs out. | norbus
12/5/2010 09:07 | Yep, and also a subtle indication that money is not too tight too mention...we could be in for a pleasant surprise | carl79
11/5/2010 21:58 | Just from memory, I think that the last job advert stated that the new employeee would be joining a staff of 8 working in the development team This advert states that the new employee would be joining a team of 10, which would imply additional staff being taken on A very good sign, imo, that they are very serious about getting V2 finished | the analyst
11/5/2010 20:26 | Another job advert for V2 development. Looks like they are in a hurry to fill this post, I wonder if someone has defected. | uncle_bob
11/5/2010 08:42 | agreed, Nick has lost the plot, now into blackmail, bribery, corruption, deceipt etc, he his taking our minds back to the expenses scandal, nothing has changed! ps long term bgt | kaos89
11/5/2010 08:39 | Totally agree ; John Reid and Blunkett's integrity leaves me hopeful that LibLab11 will collapse and the respective parties get sent to oblivion. I resent Scottish Political Mafia ruling the UK, and trying to destroy what's left of Albion. I thought Monday, as I could not credit the stupidity and treason of the fraudulent Brown nor the lack of any sense of honour in Clegg. He's brought shame to his school Westminster. | norbus
10/5/2010 21:51 | "Cameron will be in charge by Monday" The kiss of death from 'Nostradamus Norbus' :) ... Are we now swinging towards Lib-Lab, rather Con-Dem? You know, I'm sure I heard Clegg saying (repeatedly) that he wanted a new political approach with none of that dirty political maneuvering, behind closed doors stuff, none of this playing politicians against one-another type of thing... The slightest sniff of power seems to have corrupted him remarkably quickly! | the analyst
10/5/2010 12:20 | Hi Norbus, You are correct. It's not 100% certain that a delay would mean they are getting nearer to break-even, but it is pretty likely, imo. This number same is not an exact science... Talking of inexact science, my model predicted they would need more funds around July 2010 (give or take a month), that they would reach break-even around May 2011, and that they would be making £100k per month profit by around May 2012. But, that didn't take into account any one-off costs involved with moving hosting and setting up the US office (in terms of both time and money). Obviously, if it takes up too much valuable staff time, then that is time that they would otherwise have spent on increasing revenues through product development. My model numbers can change massively depending on the rate of attrition and also on the exchange rate, both of which I have no confidence in predicting. I'll be a lot more confident in any forecasts when we get the next two sets of results in, as there will be the much better historical trends in terms of revenue to use | the analyst
10/5/2010 09:26 | TA not sure if silence about more funds for now can be taken to mean getting nearer to B/E. They may have negotiated a bank facility, or got funding from or with help from Vickram. When did your model predict they'd run out of cash, allowing for the increased running costs since January? | norbus |
