17/6/2022 17:12 | Wow - my purchase at 399p this morning looking a little bit early. That is a big daily drop and not quite sure what triggered it | watfordhornet
17/6/2022 16:25 | US is not only extending its finite supply onto the open market but there's a risk of a slowing economy with the recent rate hike but crude is destined to be much higher in future as that finite supply contracts and the war of attrition continues so I wouldnt become too anxious with this very short-term volatility! | one_frankel
17/6/2022 16:25 | looking forward for the dividend now, its cheap i guess. | hellscream
17/6/2022 16:23 | wow the drop feels like 2020 all over again. | hellscream
17/6/2022 16:21 | We should at least see a 10M buyback today. Good time to announce a supplementary buyback imo. Looking around for the cause of this price action and at a loss as all seems quiet on the news front. Must be bot driven and down to this option expiry (triple malarkey) day. Hoping for some stability next week. | gwatson56

17/6/2022 13:05 | BoxerMugz for those that are not already aware is just a fantasist whose an unfortunate fra_ud and believes he's some Welsh renowned investor or HNW Stephen Jones yet can't even assume the blatantly obvious but if anyones interested have a look at the Pires thread and you'll realise it for yourself! ...So take what little he states with a very large pinch of salt and HNWs have a very refined way of communicating not akin to his delightful way of commenting! | one_frankel
17/6/2022 12:28 | Prudent Boxerdogz. Did similar. :) | geckotheglorious
17/6/2022 11:47 | Correction - capex is based on 60 dollar oil - forecasts range between 70-120dollar oil | janhar
17/6/2022 11:41 | BP is on 4 times earnings and current forecasts are based on 60 dollar oil. So even if oil falls back to 60 the shares are fundamentally cheap. I don't imagine Europe will allow itself to be reliant on Russian oil for the foreseeable and new investment will take at least 2 years to ramp up production. It's the only safe sector to be in atm. Except for tobacco | janhar
17/6/2022 11:39 | China is in lockdown in many parts . Russia has stopped n gas exports to much of europe .US driving season not started yet . Covid travel now open so many will be flying off on their long awaited holidays . Heatwaves in the US causing a surge of air conditioning . 10 years of little or no investment . Shortages will continue . 150 will be hit this summer . Oil shares probably being shorted . I am a buyer . | mknight
