30/11/2020 14:09 | topazfrenzy Can you give me some detail and proof as to where your information has come from re institutions loading up ? | ![]() irish luck
30/11/2020 14:03 | Brent climbing - up above 48 again but the share price not bouncing back with it... | ![]() crazi
30/11/2020 12:43 | Also topped. Got quite a few of these now at av 250. Will start slicing at 300. Shouldn’t be long at all. | ![]() trikytree
30/11/2020 12:26 | This renewable energy thing is good but it's going to take a lot longer than people think when it comes to reducing oil consumption. We hear that by 2030 they are hoping not to be making the traditional combustion engine in cars, that's an ambitious target. Even so, there will still be petrol and Diesel engines driving around in 30 years time. Driving a warm car in a cold climate requires a lot of electric - they haven't worked that one out yet! And how about planes? Electric planes will take some working out - they use so much fuel. And lorries, electric lorries lol.Not forgetting agricultural vehicles- some major horsepower required for that too. I look outside - the roads are full of oil driven vehicles even in "lockdown", going to be many years before we see any significant change I feel. | belzoni
30/11/2020 12:17 | Just added another few thousand shares at 254.30 to make my average price 213.00 Heard a lot in the news about Bitcoin being a finite resource lately. Surely the same has to be said for oil. The world's still thirsty for the Texas Tea, China in particular! | jobs2view
30/11/2020 12:05 | Poor Irish is gonna miss out The institutions are loading up as much as they can on BP. and RDSA/B .. once they are ready they will let it go to £3.50 in a flash | ![]() topazfrenzy
30/11/2020 11:42 | Buy when there's fear in the market ..fear of missing out is when shares rocket like the dot com boom and lemmings will buy... euphoria will come in this market but it's not there yet .. | ![]() plastow
30/11/2020 11:21 | Don't think because BP was once over £5 it will automatically return to that level. The past price is no guarantee of the future price. That was then, times change. BP are scrambling to get into renewable energy, what does that tell you. Of course I may be totally wrong, I hope so for all you guys that are long. F.O.M.O Fear of missing out ! | ![]() irish luck
30/11/2020 10:05 | I agree. I'm half loaded though.I suspect the bigger buyers may want to fully load up soon so whilst I expect a drop in the overall market I don't see that much downside - recovery for oil is well underway. | belzoni
30/11/2020 09:58 | Yes I have funds for weakness but I'd sooner be long @ these levels | ![]() plastow
30/11/2020 09:55 | I dont think I would be a buyer of BP atm, keep your powder dry as there could be more downside. I have no BP positions atm, maybe if 236 appears. The one day dow chart is close to putting a sell signal in, this will affect BP | ![]() irish luck
30/11/2020 09:28 | Another little top up for me earlier, crazy value here, get in while you still can at these levels and collect the divi while it recovers back to £5 ... | ![]() topazfrenzy
30/11/2020 08:55 | Traded this down now loaded up and happy to hold on the way up sell the spikes up then jump back in for the ride up .. | ![]() plastow
30/11/2020 08:29 | Was a good scalp long at 253 for a few as the 15min candle was way out of the bollinger band. Ftse just closed the cash gap from Friday. | ![]() irish luck
30/11/2020 08:16 | Yip remember newbies all gaps get filled lol | ![]() linton5
30/11/2020 08:15 | Seems OPEC can't agree and thus the opening drop in oil stocks... | ![]() crazi

30/11/2020 08:14 | Nicely done. Slinky, it's just a technical thing, and it's good to see someone who knows what they're doing, do it. | ![]() imastu pidgitaswell
30/11/2020 08:11 | If Opec doesn't get a deal to extend then yes.... if an extension then I doubt it. | ![]() jackpotjack
30/11/2020 08:03 | Covered my short 256.9 for 14pts Thats the first gap filled. 253 Will we see 236 possible. | ![]() irish luck
30/11/2020 07:56 | Not underwater in the slightest Irish, I am in positive here above 217 average. We will see, I think the recover prospects will take over your normal rule theory in the next few weeks. | slinkyj
29/11/2020 22:40 | Slinky You must have a position under water me thinks. Gaps are very important. Every day you will see the indices recover ground whether up or down because thats were the big boys left off. Keep your eye on the ftse in the mornings and watch them do the red line. Then the ftse follows the US in the afternoon so if the US falls so will BP. If it rises so will BP. Take the emotion out of trading and watch whats happening in the wider picture. I am a day trader, not in BP for the long run. Looking for 20pts of profit. | ![]() irish luck |
