With a PE of 6.81 this is a cheap share compared with a PE of 13/14 for EXXON and Shell. Once the GOM court cases have been resolved, this share should rise swiftly, ie well in excess of 600p

I still get dizzy when I look at the amount of shares they have been buying for cancellation and compare it to my holding....which is a decent holding by my standards.

Gives me a sense of my status in the world..... :)

I don't make predictions. I make observations......a subtle difference !

"How many chartists does it take to change a lightbulb?"
========================================================

None because they make so much money from their trading observations they call in an electrician to do it for them.

Cheerful as ever with your sage predictions bracke! ;)

How many chartists does it take to change a lightbulb?

None because they look back over decades of data to calculate how long the next one will likely last, and decide to buy candles instead

To-day the share price closed above 500.

The last time it did that was February 2012 and the previous was January 2011. On both occasions it rose to 510/515 before dropping back to 400 and 360 respectively.

It now needs to break abvove 515.
