![](https://images.advfn.com/static/default-user.png) The real problem is labour killing any shoots of recovery via Ed Miliband who is the "Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero" - until the economy catches up to ZERO. It was the very Ed who knifed his brother David in the back a few years ago to replace him in the labour party. How on earth anybody would trust such labour chameleons who are hitting the last nail in the coffin of UK economy ? When it comes to all those stories of CO2, climate change etc. what a small country like Britain would change while China, India, the US and Russia are massively pollutiong the atmosphere ? Without those big four polluters following the rules, the earth and its atmosphere will never be clean. This climate change thing is either becoming a fashion or some people are definitely becoming lunatics.
So to me labour in general is acting like an ostrich hiding its head in the sand while its naked backside is exposed to the air. Every action taken by this new stange "labour" is against the people of this country. From pensioners, to farmers to students, to every industry with higher NI for employers. They have gathered a receipt to bankrupt this country. |
whats the point of wasting money on buybacks? it has no effect.
Yes it does, it makes a few quid for the investment bankers tasked with organising it. Not to mention institutional holders seeking to dump some stock into the BB.
As for the company itself, it's a lose lose situation as it's always done with borrowed money. But it's the fashion innit, don't want to be left out, everyone else is doing it. |

May be not 450 may be 350. |
Well we ain't going to get to 450 like this. Can't even hang on to last week's modest gains! |
If we break 4 squid, 4.50 area is a likely target. That's what I'm aiming for anyway. |
No, you're right. The trouble is that my glass is always half full. |
Did you find out? The Archaea part should be added to it |
BP looking forward to Trump presidency, CEO says |
Goldman is saying Brent could be low 60,s in 2026 . At this level , realistically where do you see BP at? Mind you they did once forecast oil reaching 200! Lol |
The way i see it oil is waiting for an excuse to fall and with it BP. Talk of ceasefire between Israel and hezbulla . All one sided in any event with Hez not a match to Israel. |
No it isnt ! |
Still ticking up, slowly does it! |
What percentage of BP production is natural gas? Before I have to trail through accounts....thanks in advance |
Not sure what a Marxist diet is but I hope he gets blown away into oblivion in any event . On oil and gas I think the putin effect has a lot to do with what's going on now . Maybe 70 is the floor for Brent. Still making lots of dish even at that level . Just a pity everyone is into big tech and Nvdia . |
hope the strong dollar/weak pound stays, nice boost to dividend. |
Oil and gas set to climb during this Europe wide cold winter. JSO idiots have no understanding of markets. Ed the red is even more idiotic in his believe that windmills will make UK a "super power" of wind. He gets this from eating beans on a Marxist diet! |
OP heading for $80 |
Going up nicely, and so is Brent at $74.00 |
Divi due Dec24. Will it go up like Centrica on a day divi is paid, I wonder. |
Low 300s would be an ideal buy in price. Price is too high right now specially with trump round the corner. |
I'm not sure whether it wants to go blue or red today. Hopefully, we'll end the day blue. |
Look at the ftse, it has been on the fall for 3 months, the UK economic outlook is grim, that's why they are stealing money thru heavy tax. |
