bit late on board here small time but will see. Chapchip the pandan I know has an attractive flavour often wrapping cooked rice in triangular leaf packets. Hope it does not retrace too much if commodities get thumped by resurgent dollar.

Having now experienced Lucara from the old AFD days, anything is possible.

He's probably Plucked that number out of the air, Or he's looked at the history of AFDs early bullseye...
But ..... Depending on what we have got.... Who knows, I have a sum in mind but it means nothing it's just a FIRST STEP GOAL for me it's a bit less than tomatomato's 33p ,

another solid day. There are multiple exploration efforts ongoing at the moment. Diamonds have been found. Valuation of 33p or more is possible

The next discovery in the series was AK24, which was made by AFD/Boteti in early 2005.

The discovery of AK's 21,22,23 would have to pre-date this but by how long is unknown.

I think it's quite likely that they have not had anything but a cursory look up to now.

PL260 contains 3 kimberlites - AK21, AK22 and AK23.

The area is directly south of the big mine AK1 and due west of Karowe.
It is close to Lucara's 'E' exploration block which contains AK11, AK12, AK13 and AK14.

There seems to be no record of exploration in the public domain but it is likely that the discoverer was either De Beers Prospecting or Debswana. They may susequently have been in an exploration licence operated by Firestone in the latter years.

Mickluv. it should be a great ride and if we have success I would expect to be taken out by either Alrosa or Lucara, they are both keen on expansion in this business?

Ein you're right it is practically unheard of that diamonds are found at first drillings, the goal is usually to find kimberlite particles which would suggest diamonds maybe present! We have already had a RNS to say diamonds have been found. I expect massive news not only from the current BOD/Altosa plots in the near future but from Brightstone too IMHO.GLA ?

In an RNS of 2nd March, John Teeling says:

" The wide diameter holes to be drilled on a known kimberlite on our new licence in Orapa, PL260, are to test whether diamond grades improve at depth."

PL260 was awarded to Sunland Minerals, the 50/50 company owned by BOD and Alrosa in October 2015. What I would like to know is what diamonds were found there by its previous operator.

So far I have had no success. Does anyone know the answer?
Incidentally, wide diameter is 13 inches, and JT said in March that Alrosa is a partner on 13 of BOD's 27 blocks. Lots of chances there.

Talkman, I meant the Alrusa drilling taking place at the moment on Bods license,as you say there has already been micro diamonds found on the first drillings on Brightstone, which is quite amazing on a first drilling?

They already have found diamonds . The drilling is to prove grade and quality . The market has just not cottoned on to this fact . Read the 3rd paragraph very carefully from the recent RNS.

If diamonds show up in drilling they certainly will and more.Best to read the last R N S from Bods and then check out the Companies mentioned, it is quite reassuring?
