14/9/2017 07:30 | Beware of the Clontarf liars, cheats, shill's and deceiver's This is a public service message brought to you on behalf of the truth tellers | lippe

13/9/2017 19:51 | The minerals exploration company, Botswana Diamonds (BOD) has announced that prospecting work on the Ontevreden licence held by Vutomi has identified a group 2 kimberlite pipe.Initial work indicates a size of 1.5 to 2.5 hectares in area containing high interest garnets, however the commercial value of the area including the actual size and contents will only be confirmed after a detailed drilling takes place.John Teeling, Chairman, said, "This is excellent news. A new kimberlite discovery in an area where high grade kimberlites are being mined offers exciting prospects for the company. I look forward to providing shareholders with further updates as appropriate."Ontevre | lordz
13/9/2017 18:04 | Emilio - when I can't say I have a lot of time for fenners, I have even less time for people who gloat about other people losing money. If anyone on here claims they have never had a bad trade / investment, they are liars. We have all made mistakes in terms of getting into or our of a given share at the wrong time. No offense meant but nobody wins all the time in this game. | thecynical1
13/9/2017 13:21 | Sorry not uranium but NICKEL. | lordz
13/9/2017 13:10 | URU and BOD both mentioned the Zebediela region in South Africa. Which is rich in mineral resources. | lordz
13/9/2017 13:07 | If you look at URU news from 13th June they have discovered uranium in the same area as BOD. Does this mean that they might be looking for uranium too in the near future. | lordz
12/9/2017 22:23 | Well I know where I get a lot of starters for research from - boards such as this. For example Laura Ashley about 20p , in theory paying a strong dividend share price had dipped and yield looked do-able even if dividend was halved. Someone on the LA board advised that the controlling interest was with the MD - red flag I would not have sussed just from reading the accounts as he controls via other interests. Whilst some were dipping in I then did my own research and avoided - but was grateful for what I learned via the board. LA share price now 8.7p dividend abandoned. | fenners66
12/9/2017 21:56 | Fenders, I think you are probably a very well educated person, have dabbled in shares and lost.It would seem to me that you are now lacking in capital and trying to blame other people for your bad luck/ investments / speculative ventures? I look forward to making a lot of money out of this ,you can keep carping on, I do enjoy your posts but you will probably need therapy soon? | ein4
12/9/2017 21:43 | Getting back to the share price for a minute..... This rose 20% today on the back of trades worth about 10k.......I wonder what would happen if there were to be real volume...... | thecynical1
12/9/2017 21:40 | Government health warnings on cigarette packs are aimed at reducing the cost to the health system. Are you saying that, like the Good Samaritan, you are trying to save potential BOD punters from themselves? Everyone on here is an adult ( maybe with the exception of the guy/gal who can't spell "]deceive". Everyone is obliged to do their own research and if they don't that is their business and their stupidity. Just my opinion. | thecynical1
12/9/2017 20:17 | You forgot that ALL the licences found bought over 4 companies for say 10 years have fallen victim to a series of unfortunate events leaving them worthless or having achieved nothing to date. Massive bad luck or poor management? 10 years of starting again somewhere else - the investment case is thin at best "rotating in and out of trading opportunities" Thanks I would never have guessed - so who do you think is rotating ? Random punters? | fenners66
12/9/2017 18:47 | I wonder whether punters like Fenners actually understand the small player exploration business? 1.Find licences 2.apply for said licences 3.find partner to explore licensed area 4.reap a percentage of the rewards if licensed area proves to contain valuable minerals/oil/gas/dia 4a.alternatively, sell stake in license for profit. 4b.if neither 4 nor 4a are possible, start again somewhere else. | thecynical1
12/9/2017 18:11 | Smoking kills and it is well printed on every cigarette pack. Mr. Fenners reminds me of some one who nevertheless would still repeatedly shout to some one 'smoking kills, smoking kills' if anyone buys a pack from a news stand. On AIM it is always possible to lose your complete investment in a company. That's the price you pay for the chance of enjoying multi-digit gains. So, if everybody knows the risk/reward dynamics, what's the point exactly of constantly repeating something that is well known to most if not all on here??? I think you're wasting your time Fenners. But you probably can't be helped ;-) | novicetrade68
12/9/2017 17:39 | So you don't have any shares here, then? | thecynical1
12/9/2017 17:38 | Fenners.... Ever heard of people rotating in and out of trading opportunities? | thecynical1
12/9/2017 17:23 | Is it a coincidence that PET CLON and CON have all declined today whilst there (presumably) has been some buying in BOD chasing the share price higher? That's good news for you BOD holders but leaves me wondering where the money is coming from to buy the shares... | fenners66
12/9/2017 17:07 | fenners - no only looked at BOD - though I agree there are many AIM lifestyle companies. There are plenty which never deliver anything as well, but these guys have done and spectacularly. I am invested due to the prospects and James Campbell does seem to know what he is doing. Vutomi looks good, plus the Botswana JV results may be interesting when they eventually appear, so all in all BOD looks very promising - to me anyway. If you wait until positive drilling results it may be safer but the bigger gains will come from buying early IMO. | fairlight
12/9/2017 16:54 | If and when they actually announce positive results of the drilling, one may be able to be positive ; until then a decade of reading obfuscation and prevarication as standard practice, of always reading about the next great scheme then learning that the last one was quietly buried and its value written off , teaches me never to be positive. The obfuscation of splitting this into 4 quoted companies run from the same address by a collection of the same directors dealing all over the world - leads me to wonder at how a single business would possibly survive such failure. You cannot be positive about such multifaceted failure. But of course for some it is not a failure at all - they have successfully taken shareholders money and turned it into director's remuneration - directly. Not the profitable company paying directors instead of giving dividends to shareholders - that gets people agitated enough - its just through raising money in share sales year after year in return for which they have delivered shareholders nothing - that gets me agitated. So have you researched PET, CLON and CON as well? | fenners66
12/9/2017 16:52 | Fenners may actually have lost it..... I wonder did he lose his house on a gamble on contact road based companies before researching who he was dealing with...? | thecynical1
12/9/2017 16:37 | fenners - I have been researching BOD for the past couple of months and I have read this BB back 6-9 months - personally I appreciate an honest balanced POV and some of your posts raise interesting questions .... but you are only ever negative, surely there are positives abou BOD. I hope you are not just one of those evangelists trying to save the poor naive PI. | fairlight
12/9/2017 16:17 | "All of you seem to know the Clontarf mob personally" I guess we will never know how true that statement is. And therein lies your answer cynical. This is a public board - used to convey information; good and bad about investment opportunities. Lets assume that say most of the longs on the Clontarf co's boards do know them personally - would they highlight the risks to the casual visitor? Some of us can do that for them , there no need to worry , we can bring balance. Now which country is it that Teeling is most focussed on..... Botswana, South Africa, Peru, Ghana, Equatorial Guinea, onshore Ireland , Iraq, Jordan, offshore Ireland.... You see most glorious leaders have trouble with 1 loss making company in just 1 country whereas JT is able to keep his hands on the tiller for 4 loss making quoted companies operating all over the world ! Quite a skill I'm sure. Though he was able to manage an Irish whisky (private company ) very successfully. Does he have a Tardis ? Can he travel through time ? How does he keep up with all the demands and have a family life? Oh but they do all lose a fortune , have zero turnover and Directors' remuneration. So if you do not know what I'm talking about - and that's what the regulars here want to stifle , look up PET, CLON and CON to go with BOD. | fenners66 |
