There is zero chance of a small aim company securing that kind of finance. At best a farmout will allow BOR to keep a small carry of about 10% once production costs are covered. Of course 10% of 45 or even 35 billion dollars is a fair sum so there are some grounds for vague optimism.

When there's money to be made finance is likely forthcoming. Now they have confirmation from the independent engineering study of payback within 2 years at $60 a barrel, conventional debt funding for the project is an option. $640m at 7-10% interest is a nice little earner for debt providers with payback after 2 years. About $60m in interest p/a. BOR would get to keep 100% aswell. Probably better than a farmout. Just needs three or four to provide the funding $175m each.

I see it as a high risk development. The high risk being that every fkr will be dead before it happens.

Golden opportunity to make a killing from a low risk development, fact. Nobody's ramping anything.

It's derampers and trolls like yourself who are frightened of the massive potential here, and getting all worked up should a deal be done. I think it's reassuring.

I am calling Bor investors Donkeys.......what would you call them as can't be intelligent buying share in a domarnt company for 11 years hoping they will get rich if a partner comes along after 11 yearsSo much dilution in the shares BOR will be lucky if it keeps 2 % for a free carry.......fact!

So why do you ignore that you have just called BOR investors donkey's. You seem rather obsessed with BOR for someone who isn't invested. Why are you so obsessed with BOR?. Is it because you are frightened it will get a a deal done and holders will make a lot of money? You and Brazil and Travis and the Gypsy Queen come across as very inadequate individuals. That's just an observation and not name calling. I bet you're all ADVFN stooges being paid to deramp shares you don't like and talk up the shares your little ring are in.

Whoppy down to name calling again as to debate BOR and why the company has been dormant for 11 yearsAs for following me around sounds like your a bit obsessed, I have sharesin a number of companies and a very varied portfolio from the likes of Shell and BP to slightly risky ones like Helium 1 Like all shares there is a risk but at least HE1 is an active share fully funded awaiting to sign a drilling rig to explore looking for Helium

Twisting words and still 11 years on there are no potential partners if such a great discovery why? Then you have the carrot on the stick and the donkey will follow....Reminds me of certain investors on here.

A reminder of what our cautious board have said recently. They never say much, but sound confident.

Sept 22
"The surging oil and gas prices during the first half of the year have had a positive impact on industry sentiment, with energy security becoming an important consideration. In this context, we have experienced an increase in interest in our project and continue to talk with potential partners. As previously reported, one of our objectives for the year was to commission an independent facilities study to further evaluate our development concepts and to provide current CAPEX and OPEX estimates. We are focusing on a phased development, consistent with the industry and economic environment, whereby we could minimize initial capital expenditure and deliver fast project payback. This study is now underway".

Jan 23
"The Company believes that this new phased development concept with accelerated payback, presents an attractive opportunity for industry collaborators and will help attract the necessary funding to advance this exciting project".

Who cares! this will go vertical. Directors took a 50% wage cut years ago. Harry Dobson Chairman has put tonnes of money into this with a shareholding over 10%. Recently put in £650,000 in the placings. Serious dosh. Not like HE1 where the directors can't even be bothered to hold shares and will just dilute shareholders. Proper lifestyle company that with incompetent board and chairman.
