Just my opinion, but I would definitely think about closing that short drf.

From what I've heard, CW is a bit of a 'control freak' (no disrespect intended!). Until now, broker targets have always been within easy reach of the share price at the time (and lets not forget that he is very much in control of what the analysts hear).

This is the first time that I have seen a target so far in advance of the present share price here. IMO, CW will have 'OK'd' it, which suggests to me that he feels the company is going to start motoring. He likes to under estimate and outperform in a very quiet way.

All just my opinion.

Wouldn't mind a little drop first. I do really like the company but would like a solid position to start.

Yeah, for now. Being in Ophir has helped make up for losses here, so not too bothered atm.

Sooner or later it will pull back, but whether it will fall to my original short, remains to be seen.

I might have a crack at another short position when it looks like running out of steam. I will let the board know, cos whenever I short this, it goes up :-)

dunns_river_falls are you keeping your short open? I was hoping for a drop to 135-140 to buy in... looks unlikely

Bloody amazing! Have held this as a "safe" share since 25p, and it is one of my best performers. Have topped sliced countless times. Onward and upward!

Wow that certainly is a change of heart. Would be interesting to know how they justify that price.

Holding up well compared to most today.

I see they are advertising for an 'Assistant Financial Accountant' at Makro. Must be struggling to count all the pennies! :-)

Maybe its stupidity rather than bravery, lets agree to decide on that one at some point in the future. I will see what happens after the next market pullback and how BOK fairs after that, then re-evaluate.

I agree that this is a great company with ok growth, seemingly run in a good way. But I still think its way overvalued, and any sign of a slowing of that growth will see the shares crumple, but that could be a long way down the line!

All the best.

Fair play, I'm just not as brave as you, drf. After the latest broker note I'd be thinking I may have got it wrong and be looking to exit. All the best anyway.

Woody - when something happens to make me see the value here!

They are effectively a supermarket, and eventually will be rated similarly.

I might have got the timing wrong, but the game isnt over. If I buy a share because I think its good value and the price drops yet nothing has happened to alter my view, they are better value and may be worthy of a top up. The reverse is true here.

I am not hurting, and wont for a good while yet. I have plenty of powder dry and will likely have another go when I see fit.

I will let you know when I do, because clearly I have been wrong so far, and me placing another short will likely to be a good time to go long!

I know nothing about the use of charts but there does seem to be some sort of pattern.

FWIW the chart seems to show BOK rises in a 20p deep channel through several cycles. It then has a very steep leg that breaks out of the channel before establishing a new channel with the same price range and slope as the previous one. The top of the old channel seems to be roughly in line with the base of the new one.

We seem to be on one of those steep legs at the moment. The same thing happened in January.

Target price 10p ahead of where the share price is now indicates share price is already fully valued. If it gets there I will increase my short

This is perhaps the reason for todays rise.

Investment analysts at Berenberg Bank began coverage on shares of Booker Group (LON:BOK) in a note issued to investors on Wednesday, Stock Ratings News reports. The firm set a "buy" rating and a GBX 164 ($2.63) price target on the stock. Berenberg Bank's price target would indicate a potential upside of 10.22% from the stock's previous close.

No, but I do take notice when the P/E is high, combined with a poor dividend and apathetic brokers.
