If it follows the pattern from earlier in the year it should bounce off mid 170s back to 180ish.
But that was then and this now so no promises.

All I know is that for a retail company 97% rise in revenue is exceptional. 40% going forward is pretty exceptional too, but that will be upgraded come 12 June.

At the end of the day, it's taking market share as it's a superior model.

Investors suspend belief and then pile in...

From a technical perspective, this is looking very good (something we've not been able to say for a very long time!) To explain:

1. The stock gapped up on the results, largely down to there being nothing negative left to worry about here - even the margin erosion which brokers were using to justify a downwards re-rating didn't materialise and the company explained carefully and logically how their high-margin PLT expansion and efficiencies of scale with central office operations would enable them to increase investment AND keep the margins at 9-10%.

2. Since then, the gap has held and the key 168 - 170 level has not been retested.

3. We're now seeing very nice volatility compression with an inside bar today and a triangle-like formation. Today's bar was less than 0.4 ATR in size. That is typical of a stock that is getting ready for a breakout move.

4. The declared institutional shorts should help any upwards move when they have to cover. Although they're by no means large (1.5% is considered a very low short interest), this is a share where large holdings are held by the founders and family which means not all shares are available for shorting liquidity. Probably not a major factor but nice to know.

Anyone else got a technical perspective on this? e.g. Bamboo...?

A few short punts certainly won't influence the sp, it's the constant talk about shorts that might!There are many times more institutional investors than shorters but they thrive on the fact everyone discusses the shorts endlessly, frightening the pi into selling.
