No director sells, trading at big discount (unfairly) to ASOS, big short positions that need closing and presumably large investors
wanting in.. I think this is starting a new run...

Stunning results today. Boo showed their class. 97% revenue is awesome. Over 5% of the UK on-line market, 10 million buyers, 40% forward growth this year for a company that always seems to upgrade. It's the penetration into the US market that's so exciting. If they can deliver there who knows where the share price will end up.

As for the shorts, they are just gamblers. Bit like NT and his short. They don't really understand the company or the market. But it's one thing exiting a small spread bet and another selling millions in a rising market.

With EPS of 3.23 and 40% uplift in turnover predicted, and constant margins that correlates to a target of 4.5p. The P/E has been as high as 100 on Asos. I see no reason why this can’t reach 400 in 12 months as BOO has a habit of exceeding its own expectations. Further, they have always expressed confidence of £1bn tour over by 2020. That would give EPS of around 6p - so 600p in 2 years for SP? DYOR

What are the cost implications for keeping a short open for a long time...

There is no time limit on a short but they can be requested back at any time (not common) normally it will be the shorter who decides. If they feel it won't drop below current levels in future they will close quickly otherwise they may hold it open for a long time

Been there done it on other stock. The difference with Spril 2018 result announcement is that on previous two announcments the share price went up prior results and then result day went down so maybe this is a indicator who knows.

I panic sold 45% of my stock Tuesday at just under 1.49p and had to buy back at 1.7425p - still think this will top 275p before September and if the dow holds & no directors sell this week we could even end the week above 200p plus

Sorry for my ignorance but when the likes of Canada Pension Plan Investment Board short a company like boohoo do we know how long they have before they have to buy back the shares as i assume this will help in determining future share price when there is not much news going down.

BOO short positions are negligible - they can be ignored and there's no point wasting time discussing the current level.

Now two of my others SBRY and IQE are big style shorts!

I'm back in today to hopefully recover some of my losses when I sold at 150p. Looking at short tracker, one of the shorts has already closed their position down from 2.2% to 1.87%
