04/5/2018 11:38 | I saw a boohoo one last night whilst watching Young Sheldon, thought it was awful, some not particularly attractive woman wearing some hideous clothes, but that might just be me getting old! | mauricemonkey

04/5/2018 09:27 | Just seen a Nasty gal advert on ITV after Lorraine and before Jezza Kyle! Not seen any UK marketing previously for this brand, at least not on tv. Up, up and away!! | cheek212

04/5/2018 06:47 | Could be a good time to open a short position today | jackson83
04/5/2018 04:14 | Still plenty of large shorts open ? Can we see this going down or up before results ? Let's hope 170p will be the new low . | jamesto2
04/5/2018 02:07 | Yep, the capital account is different from the P&L account!! The risk to the P&L account (EPS) therefore is that they grow (too) fast and customer churn increases without a consolidating customer base thus impacting admin and marketing costs. These are the issues to watch for EPS imv but as said above the customer retention is improving and churn decreasing so we're on a virtuous circle for the time being. Still, a lot of people will play on the uniqueness, untried, untested business model to be bearish and drive the shorts... as they do with many other early growth companies. Looks like support/resistance at 180p for the time being, I guess. | sogoesit
03/5/2018 16:55 | Well said thorpy | blueisthecolour1
03/5/2018 16:34 | Inverse H&S or am I seeing what I want to see - target would be 220 :) | toffeeman
03/5/2018 16:32 | Monnow- biggest load of tripe I've read on this board in a while and a blatant deramp. If you had any idea if how to read & understand financials of a business you would know that capital expenditure doesn't affect EPS. The reason for that is because the business funds those one-off costs through it's capital- none of it touches the P&L, so it makes no difference to earnings. Hence a ridiculous comment trying to assert that capital requirements will keep EPS down. No it wont. | thorpyuk
03/5/2018 15:17 | Well, if you want to short a company growing as quickly as Boo, good luck. Last year revenue guidance was 50% at the prelims, that turned into 97%. Guidance this year is a conservative 40%. So perhaps 70% for the full year? Now 10 million customers across the globe. Churn decreased and value per shop increased. Once you have a customer base you can sell more and expand your range. The question isn't EPS. It's whether BOO can crack the US, France and German markets. Their business model not really been seen before. Evidence suggests they can imo. | rochdae
03/5/2018 10:12 | Some of the eps comments a bit naive given the exponential growth and scaling up of capacity, but I do expect to see low 160s tested again although set my buy trigger at 171 and happy to average down if need be. | rathean
03/5/2018 10:02 | Clarification: By falling eps I should clarify I mean slowing or declining annual increase. ie being squeezed | monnow
03/5/2018 09:57 | Diluted EPS of 25% and falling is not enough to keep these lofty p/e metrics up, in my view. I sold yesterday on the premis that rising turnover and falling eps is not a place I want to be with a 65 x earnings multiple !! Good luck to all holders. Cap ex will keep eps down for years. Mouse on a wheel spring to mind. | monnow
03/5/2018 09:22 | an open goal for shorting for the next 5 weeks | adejuk
03/5/2018 09:21 | Same action as yesterday- knock the price down in the morning and watch it rise in the afternoon! | cheek212
03/5/2018 09:20 | june don't panic | adejuk
03/5/2018 06:54 | We could test 170p before any substantial rise IMHO & it rose from 140p on 4 th April to 190p 35% . The buzz seems to have gone from this stock & no new news expected for 6 weeks | hotaimstocks
03/5/2018 05:06 | Target price 200p December and in 1/2 years 250p . I'm in wiv average 24p & I'm in no hurry to sell up | jamesto2 |
