Fun fact

Throgmortonstreet,

I hope this letter finds you in a state of blissful ignorance, which seems to be your natural habitat. It has come to my attention, and indeed to the attention of anyone with a modicum of discernment, that you have been generously gracing our financial forum with your boundless wisdom and unsolicited commentary on a stock in which you hold precisely zero financial interest.

One must marvel at the audacity it takes to pontificate on matters of finance while having no skin in the game. It's akin to a culinary novice criticising a gourmet chef’s creations or a tone-deaf individual critiquing a symphony. Your posts, while undoubtedly entertaining in their sheer irrelevance, contribute about as much to the discussion as a dictionary does to a conversation between lifelong friends.

It’s touching, really, that you believe your opinion—so unburdened by actual investment—is of value. Your contributions are much like a lighthouse in the desert: entirely out of place and utterly useless. I’m sure your family is incredibly proud of your ability to comment on things that do not, in any way, impact your financial wellbeing. It’s a rare talent to be so fervently opinionated about nothing of consequence.

One must wonder what motivates you to persist in this charade. Is it a longing for attention, a desperate need to feel involved in matters beyond your grasp, or perhaps a simple misunderstanding of the concept of relevance? Whatever the case, your participation serves as a poignant reminder that not all voices deserve an audience.

In the future, I would suggest redirecting your efforts towards endeavors where your lack of expertise might go unnoticed. Gardening, perhaps, or bird watching—activities where your profound detachment from reality could at least be harmless. Until then, I, along with many others on this forum, will continue to regard your posts as delightful little interruptions, reminding us all that even in the world of finance, clowns can sometimes find a stage.

The thing is, most Gen Z shoppers are buying pre-loved second hand clothes from either Vinted or DePop or eBay and if they want brand new, then it's SHEIN or TEMU.

Another BOOHOO PROFIT WARNING on the horizon ??
===============================================

The wet Summer and the cost of living crisis has hit UK clothing retailers hard and Boohoo PLC is no exception to that.

Based on the latest website traffic data and visitor numbers to Boohoo's websites, the business is definitely in deep financial trouble.

Boohoo's latest DESPERATION SALE trumpeting "UP-TO-80% OFF" means it is now trying to sell unwanted Summer dresses, Swimwear, Sandals and other clothing, below manufacturing cost.

Volume selling clothes below cost, trashes Boohoo's profit margins, generates large financial losses and ultimately will trigger another PROFIT WARNING.
