20/2/2018 08:08 | Interesting article on BBC website regarding arcadia group suffering at the hands of e-retailers in the fast fashion space specifically quoting boohoo and asos for their woes and sir Philip Green reportedly trying to sell out. If millennial are turning their backs on high street stalwarts such as topshop once the 18-25 go to fashion outlet, then we truly are seeing a major ground shift in this industry which will only play into the hands of e-retailers such as boohoo. Also sounds like topshop with its pension black hole is another BHS waiting to happen and may put of buyers so future not looking good for its long term survival. I can only see this share accelerating in growth in the near future AIMHO. DYOR | broadsidebouy
19/2/2018 16:24 | Lol toffee......22 months to go...:-) | telbap
19/2/2018 13:48 | Telbap - but not for a bottle of LR :) | toffeeman
19/2/2018 13:44 | Eventually that will force a change in high street rentals as demand for retail space falls away ....this will happen quite quickly, maybe the next 2 years will see some huge changes as the likes of arcadia changes hands and tougher negotiations happen.M+S are already doing this quietly, expect others to follow. Changing times ahead. | telbap |
