It's worth remembering that Boohoo PLC would need to pay a substantial premium to win overall control of Revolution Beauty and the problem is, Boohoo PLC is only surviving thanks to the goodwill of its Lenders and it's Revolving Credit Facility (RCF).

If the REVB management digs deep into Boohoo's Financial Accounts, it will find it already has the perfect robust defence to see off Kamani !!

Boohoo's cash reserves are all gone, and nobody wants Boohoo shares in lieu.

Boohoo really shouldn't have wasted all its cash reserves on all those loss making brand names, including PrettyLittleThing

Maybe you should have read the R.N.S more carefully.

Boohoo PLC needs to own 50.01% of Revolution Beauty's entire issued share capital before it can claim ownership.

At this moment in time Boohoo PLC doesn't even own enough REVB shares to be forced to make a mandatory takeover offer

(a) Boohoo has not become insolvent and had ADMINISTRATORS appointed.

or

(b) Fast fashion rival SHEIN has not taken all of Boohoo's customers and killed it off.

What strikes me about the telegraph article is how hopelessly out of touch the analysis is. Wafer thin margins with 2 bn turnover almost are pretty poor during a macro downturn. The moment the economy turns, interest rates decline, macros improve, the stock market looks ahead this will rerate faster than you can say Kamani
