Why does the company this size "have to release news", hootza616?

It is no longer a small company that has to bolster its share price (or the opposite!) by regular newsflow. It is hopefully going to become a mainstream company which just issues updates as part of their normal activity.

And nasty gal a known brand with an extensive client base and following. Starting from scratch it could accelerate very quickly. Already at 80% growth per quarter..

So why does share price keep dropping?
When is the next news release showing these numbers increasing?
I would expect a big rise pre-xams if PLT and NG take off the way we all know it will but they need to release news!

To have a strong presence in the US via PLT and NG is a BIG plus to BOO.
This will dramatically boost their earnings in a very short time indeed.

There is a big Kourtney Kardashian and PLT tie up launching on Friday, will be interesting to see how much coverage that gets.

rickyvee - Thanks a lot for the info. A very intresting article on both BOO and the huge impact NG will make particularly in the US on BOO earnings. I am a long term strong believer and a long term holder. I think PLT will also develop as a full company within BOO.
IMO BOO will do better than ASC as it is penetrating the US market very early , one of the most important for its future earning, in a very astute way by establishing itself as the brand and hitting many targets at the same time.

I think Nasty Gal will soon be generating its previous 300 million in revenue (now 8 million on 60% plus margins). The fashion market is fickle but so is every other industry. But it's hard to find anything across any market growing at 80-100% and accelerating.

Boohoo makeup range and product reviews beginning to hit YouTube etc. from prominent beauty vloggers.Seems to review decently well. Easy to find on the YouTube platform.

The scenario of the weak holders is this: They follow the daily drop until they completely lose faith then they sell. One day, out of the blue the "check the share price by curiosity" and find it rose by 30 - 40 % since they sold ... So the best way to avoid this unforgiving mistake is to hold and trade with other stocks. Simple. This one will be ripe in 2020. Between now and then the share price will be in an ascending yoyo mode

Growth accelerating here. Daily moves not that relevant. I think Boo will upgrade yet again in their Dec trading update.
