Oil and gas is £58m so 10% of revenue

Can anyone tell me how much of the revenue is generated via the Oil and Gas industry?

Thanks.

Gone into reverse and now back to the price I sold at. More likely weighed down by the general market malaise. I wonder is the long awaited and perhaps overdue market correction underway?

Big bounce today. I think Investec were impressed by their capital market's day.

I wonder is this being shorted? It certainly is getting a hammering and has been as low as 590.5p today. It is bouncing back a little as I type but I wouldn't be surprise if it weakened again. If it falls through 590p support then I think it be very bearish.

Hi Toffee, I didn't deep dive into this but sold quickly because I thought it was going to be hammered. I saw very few positives in today's statement at first glance. OK Oil and Gas were up 13.6% but I am not sure how the low price of Oil affects the revenue. Aerospace and Defence revenues lower ( unlikely to improve imo. Industrial Gas Turbines flat, Automotives lower at currency rates,Trucks lower in Western Europe and weaker Nth America

Revenues in the Aerospace, Defence and Energy business were higher by 2.5% at constant exchange rates (2.9% lower at actual exchange rates). Aerospace and Defence revenues were lower by 3.3% at constant exchange rates. Civil aviation revenues have been impacted by continuing inventory adjustments by some engine OEMs, particularly in the UK, and defence revenue suffered from the ongoing reduction in military budgets. Revenues in Oil & Gas were up 13.6% on a constant currency basis. Demand from the North American onshore sector remains on an improving trend and revenues for subsea applications, particularly for the Group's HIP Product Fabrication offering, have continued to grow steadily. Revenues in the Industrial Gas Turbine sector were flat compared to the same period of last year. "The Board currently expects that general background demand will be more difficult in 2015 than in 2014." A lowering of expectations which would avoid a profit warning I suppose. I like the share and I like the divi but there were just too many weaknesses and negatives for me. I might re-enter at 550 if it reached that. I am happy to hear any bull points or price targets.

I am long (from 700! for the long run) but I think this is through 600 support and so will hit 500.

CR: Why do you think this share has been beaten down to this level? Is it going to fall to £5.00 or shoot up to £7.00

Haven't been here for a while ; got out last yr too early .
Looking briefly at the last results it looks like the low yield is well underpinned , looks like recent weakness is an opportunity to buy back in. Doesn't look a bargain though ; 650 looks a reasonable re-entry point to me .
