19/12/2018 14:14 | Big resistance line at 710-715! | jacko54
10/10/2018 09:45 | Hopefully some support around these levels dating back to April 2017. | tiswas

25/7/2018 21:32 | Bodycote (BOY) Earnings-Reaction to Keep an Eye | danieldanj
31/5/2018 09:56 | Losos - agree with you and yes their overseas earnings will be enhanced by the exchange rates. Don't hold BOY at the minute so I'm not pushing them but still follow them out of interest as they did well for me in the 80s when Joe Dwek was CEO through into the 90s with John? Chisholm I think from memory. Will keep an eye out for a dip and maybe get back in. | cheshire pete
30/5/2018 22:20 | cheshire pete - I prefer if the company is not always in the media glare and subject to private investors whims. Overall the $/£ exchange rate must help them I think. Wish there were more companies like them. | losos
30/5/2018 19:39 | Linhur, Seen this many times with BOY over the years. Strong institutional support for this quality company but suspect only on the radar of relatively few private investors and this may be behind the lack of comment. Maybe some comment tomorrow from press / city pundits. | cheshire pete
30/5/2018 18:49 | Surprised no one has commented on the leap today in the share price. Increased concensus forecast of operating profit for current year of £133.1m and a range between £124.5 to £140m, AGM was very positive with executive directors strongly managing a forward move on revenue and operating profit. | linhur
20/4/2018 11:28 | advfntom - just wondering of you are the same 'Tom' who was (back in the early days of ADVFN) something in 'customer services' ??? | losos
14/4/2018 21:32 | Should go up soon as will be many jumping on board for the BIG Divi payment ! | advfntom
12/4/2018 15:24 | Will she, won't she break out of that pennant? If so, should be interesting......... | napoleon 14th
06/3/2018 12:37 | Great results. Elephants don't gallop, so I'm still in. Should break £10 soon IMO. | napoleon 14th
16/11/2017 12:02 | Yep, Lin, disappointingly wobbly! Still like it long term, tho'. | bone apart
16/11/2017 11:58 | Think we're on support line can anybody confirm | jitters3
13/11/2017 11:30 | nap "what's not to like?" 7% drop from 950p to 880p this last month Derating started. Perhaps cutbacks on auto production in Europe? | linhur
30/8/2017 10:35 | Nice breakout, good fundies, new product, what's not to like? IMO BOY's re-rating has started. £10 just the first stop. | napoleon 14th
05/8/2017 11:30 | Telegraph tips #BOY. one of 5 stocks to be the next #FEVR. I Hold - | martinthebrave
27/7/2017 08:36 | Well the results were even sunnier than I expected; "Bodycote achieved strong revenue growth in the first half, with good momentum in virtually all parts of the Group. Notably, the General Industrial business, which represents almost 40% of Group revenues, experienced a broad based recovery after over three years of decline. Automotive and Aerospace also moved ahead. The growth strategy of bolt-on acquisitions and greenfield investment contributed 5.5% of the 8.3% constant currency growth. Investment in new projects has been stepped up. The high margin Specialist Technologies continue to perform strongly and the margin expansion programme in European AGI is seeing further success. The positive momentum achieved in the first half is expected to continue. While our business, by its nature, has limited forward visibility, the Board now expects the full year result to be towards the upper end of market expectations1." | rhomboid
24/7/2017 21:05 | Rhomboid, good to see you here. I think you could be right. It all looks very promising. Just a little patience needed. | martinthebrave
24/7/2017 17:57 | I'm hoping that my purchase today will give me a stake in an entirely new high margin patent protected high growth powdered metallurgy tech business, hidden for now in a hi quality market leading industrial biz 🙂 | rhomboid
24/7/2017 16:49 | Bought in today following Friday's update. Hopefully it might also add a little life to this board! | martinthebrave
02/3/2017 12:41 | and me! (= | toffeeman
02/3/2017 10:55 | Well something has lit the blue touch paper. I sold too early. | bigbertie
28/2/2017 10:21 | If I had bought at 516 - I would probably take some profit! I do wonder if they are vulnerable to a takeover - at least I hope so! | toffeeman |
