You can apply 50% whilstever the stock is tradeable soetates.

Not so sure you can apply 50% retracement when the stock is in play, if it is.

The FT also runs with that piece re rumour:

Volume was a very heavy yesterday, one suspects Bodycote will issue a statement with regards press speculation Monday morning, will be interesting to see what transpires.

stoxx67,-correct,==== read same in other papers,D Tel mentions Apax ,also adds there is usually a Friday'rumour' on one stock or another ,seems it was our turn on this occasion,fun either way !--- Monday should be interesting though.

you will normally see that after this kind of movement ,especially as it happened within a couple of hours, the LSE will force the company to make a statement, whether it be perceived undervalued or not.

I, for one, remain surprised that such a statement has not been forthcoming.
