Bought a small amount back on that opening dip. |
Sold another few this morning just in case the growing MAX crisis impacts sentiment.
Intend to add back lower down, if given the opportunity. |
At the earliest should be underlined.
Listening to one of the conference calls the CEO mentioned no impact from the MAX atm as there was a significant lag of up to 2 years on their input - at least that was my takeaway.
Surprised by that and wonder why SNR is seeing a more immediate impact, the two companies must be involved at different process stages. SNR may also have a higher exposure to the MAX programme perhaps?. |
Sold a few on the Brexit related bounce for the MCX. |
Nice start. |
Rob, I notice the CFO's other half bought a chunk just over £7 recently.
Need to be careful reading too much in to that, however better than a sale. A lot depends whether this slowdown morphs in to recession. The current share price may only factor in a slowdown. There is high operational gearing here. |
you seem to be having a positive effect |
Nice intra-day reversal, added another few today between 6.39-6.46 The volatility here makes this unsuitable for those wanting a quieter life. |
Doubled up a small holding @ 6.42. |
SLA reducing. |
Bought a few at 6.96 recently, hoping for lower to add. |
Looks like a further delay to the MAX returning to service.
Not a surprise. |
'Crisis-hit Boeing warns airlines on 737 wing part'
The company says it is taking action after a batch of slat tracks used on wings were found to be potentially defective |
Perhaps should had a few yesterday!. Oh well. |
Yes, could be close :-)
Morgan Stanley upgrading to 'equal weight' from 'under weight' tp 800p cut from 830p |
TMB, luck with your holding.
Hi Phil, might be tempted to have a little nibble if this continues. Made a low near 6.90 the last time. |
Boeing 737 Max could be grounded for months, says airline body |
@EssentialInvestor Thanks for this comment re. cycles. I'm glad there was nothing scary in that TU. I think I'll bide my time re. a BOY topup (and the same for other stocks). I remember last summer most stocks fell and we may see more of that due to political/Brexit shocks presenting better buy opportunities later on. |
Hi Phil, the outlook for rest of year is slightly stronger than I expected. |
Morning EI , looks ok, nothing special . Keep on the watchlist :-) |
Phil, thanks for that, will have a look tomorrow. |
TMB, apologies, just seen your question.
I meant cyclical in the context of the wider economic cycle. So as an example, a house builder is a cyclical, their profits can vary markedly in boom/bust years - you may be more than aware of all this already. |
Trading statement tomorrow. |
@EssentialInvestor I'm quite new to private investing (started March 2018). Regards your comment about it's cycle (something I'm still learning)...was it not at the end/top of it's last cycle when it peaked at about 1040 last summer? That is, is it not starting a new one (cycle) now? Bare in mind that I'm just going by the price chart, and I'm still trying to learn about cycles. |
