15/6/2006 14:17 | miamisteve: Good luck but I think you will find it marked up quite a bit but as you say the spread will be tighter. | cimbom

15/6/2006 13:00 | Their is very little freefloat available as a majority of the shares are held tightly with the instituitions and as none of them have sold this will move quickly move back up now that the update is out to confirm that nothing is wrong and the company is progressing in the right direction. imo: The reason why this has fallen in the last couple of weeks was nothing more than market forces and being in China the markets have a tendancy to punish the share price more than others. | cimbom
15/6/2006 12:48 | Personally i think that this will start moving northwards soon - its being shorted in think in the US, based on the problems they had in the New York Post (all of which was rubbish, as far as i can gather). Is well over 50% off its US & UK highs and the company still seem very upbeat with regard to sales etc. Eventually people will start coming back and then it should hopefully rocket. | stegrego
15/6/2006 11:40 | Now that this is out we should see some strong movements this afternoon. Update RNS Number:6280E Bodisen Biotech Inc 15 June 2006 Bodisen Biotech Inc. Update Bodisen Biotech, Inc., (AMEX:BBC, London AIM:BODI, website: www.bodisen.com), the China based environmentally friendly bio fertilizer company announces that the construction of a new road in front of the company's older production facility has been completed and is now fully accessible for all vehicles. Bodisen currently has two organic bio compound fertilizer production lines with total production capacity of 200,000 metric tons per year. The road construction has not affected Bodisen's product shipments and sales. Bodisen's CEO Karen Qiong Wang stated, "Although the construction of this new road caused some inconvenience to our loading staff, our business continued as usual. Sales for our second quarter have been very strong across all product lines. We are very pleased with the progress we have made in the second quarter and look forward to providing further updates over the next few weeks." About Bodisen Biotech, Inc. A Delaware company, Bodisen is headquartered in the city of Yang Ling, Shaanxi Province, China's agricultural hub. The Bodisen brand is a highly recognized fertilizer brand in China. Its environmentally friendly "green" products support the mandate of the Chinese government to increase crop yields for the purpose of decreasing China's dependency on food imports. Utilizing proprietary agricultural technologies, Bodisen sells over 60 packaged products, broken down into four product categories: Organic Compound Fertilizer; Organic Liquid Fertilizer; Pesticides & Insecticides, and agricultural raw materials. Bodisen's organic fertilizers can be absorbed by plants within 48 hours and enrich soil conditions. These products address grains, vegetables, and fruit crops. Among China's population of 1.3 billion, approximately 900 million are farmers whose incomes depend on their crop yields. With approximately 600 (and growing) nationwide distribution centers, Bodisen has experienced rapid growth in its existing business. 09/6/2006 00:05 | This is down another 7 percent today in the US... I really really dont get it - pe is around 15 or so now i think - but i just dont see why this is getting so hammered. Potential is fantastic - they are already in profit and latest results were above expectations - this was 22 dollars or so a few months back and is now 8 dollars - something just isnt right here. Im 35% down from what i thought was a very good entry point... Seems a screaming buy to me but then again i thought that 35 percent ago... | stegrego
07/6/2006 17:24 | From TMF (US), dated Dec 05, but new to me: Bodisen is a Chinese pesticide and bio-fertilizer company. What has launched this stock more than 20% to a new 52-week high? $43 million in orders at two recent trade shows, for starters. Last year, the company booked $20 million in orders at these shows, and it has trailing annual revenue of $28 million. So to an extent, at this company's fledgling stage in its lifecycle, the trade shows produce good visibility of the company's year-ahead revenue potential. Bodisen is a company in the right place at the right time. China, the exporter to the world, is a large importer of grains and food. The Chinese government has mandated that farmers increase crop yields to decrease the nation's dependence on foreign imports. Bodisen's products are based on proprietary agricultural technology jointly developed by company scientists and university laboratories. Their fertilizers appeal to farmers because their use allows the crops to be labeled as organically grown and, in China as in the United States, that label generally means higher prices. The company expects its organic growth to continue as it gains market share at the expense of chemical fertilizer companies. Revenue for the first nine months skyrocketed 100% year over year, and net income soared 64% to $0.41 a fully diluted share. The one analyst who follows the company expects it to earn $0.51 this year and $0.87 next year. That prices the stock at a reasonable 15 times 2006 earnings. | jonwig
