Agree charles, DM is a good deal maker (we believe) but we need a stronger CEO. As the largest share holder he simply cannot be ignored as well. It is also assumed DM is guilty by some posts here but until the full facts are published (and even then I don't think there is an obligation for PwC to state the specific accusation which may have to stay confidential due to employee rights) DM is also not guilty. It applies both ways. Everything is really guesswork until an official report is published.

This will nevr come back to market so I am told in confidence.

Mercer is a convicted fraudstar. He stopped his horse from winning and benefited financially.

PJ1.
I did say I would not answer to you any more but due to the stagnant position we find ourselves in I will .
The reason I hope DM is innocent of any aligations is that he is a very important part of the deals signed in China and I would like to see him continue in some form on the deal making .
I don't think he is a good CEO but that doesn't mean he should not continue on deal making ( if cleared of any wrong doing ).

Not sure what lesson is needed from that logical thought .

Totally agree newmanontheblock. We are still owed operational updates. However, updates on accounts could be tricky if there are concerns over false accounting ie they don't yet know what the real numbers are. It may be that the CFO reckoned they had been massaging up the revenue numbers (just a guess). Redhill9, DM's 12% doesn't give him any rights to a board or management post. The remaining board are there to act on behalf of the company's shareholders (ie us), and do should be keeping us updated. It has been well over a month.

And11. Totally understand your perspective, but this share is not trading! The longer it does not trade, the more doubtful it will ever trade Or the more certain it will just crash. Real people have real money to lose here, the BNN need to understand that and put out communications that update...even if it says PWC investigations still on going but Q3 results are this, and now cash position is this.

I'm absolutely amazed the ''in love'' longs here dare to comment or give any opinions after they have ramped and got it totally wrong so far. Some people can never learn by their mistakes

And11 .

If DM is found guilty of misconduct ( I hope not ) then it will need a very strong China business minded CEO with a lot of experience .

Some good posts today and a reality check

How the Hell can anyone state they hope DM is not guilty before they know the full facts? It's an absolutely ridiculous statement that is beyond the realms of understanding for any level headed Investor, which sums up the Bulls on this thread.

If l was BNN, you wouldn’t put any news out until your clear on what PwC’s findings are if any. Then provide good news hopefully on revenues for Q3, new appointments, management changes, new contracts, a strong statement from the chairman on the way forward & date for re-listing. Just need to be patient news will come soon enough...all about ducks in a row for BNN l believe...

With all the talk on here about DM being moved into another role, whatever the results of the PWC investigation, it's worth remembering that he is the largest shareholder of BNN owning over 29m shares, around 12% of the company, so if he doesn't want to be moved he is in a fairly strong position to resist.

No I think you are right and this is very frustrating. We really need something next week at least an update re Q3 and an idea on progress with investigation. It is not good enough if we continue to hear zero for much longer.

Agree Andy, knew somebody had mentioned timescales before. But am sure PWC would investigate more to "validate" counter statements to the accusation if that is what DM has provided; so independent verification of findings required. With these snippets appearing now (if true of course but have seen comments elsewhere with the same message, so seems credible to me), it does seem we are getting close to a decision point and announcement I hope.

Perfect choice,

I did mention a few days ago it would take PWC at least a week to put a team together and then bring them up to speed on the scope of the investigation, so it's entirely possible it has only been running for a couple of weeks or so, IMO.

I'm pretty sure they don't have teams on hot standby, so they will have had to assemble people with the required knowledge and skills, that must take time as departments will have to release people.

If they have to go to China, the process will take even longer of course.

Clearly DM must have been interviewed internally, and you would have thought if all was OK, PWC could just give it the nod?

ZZZZZZZZZZZ ALL SPECULATIVE and NO substance.
Wait until we get the next RNS

but a reduction on salary will be most welcome and the loan being paid off in 14 weeks time BY Mercer.
No repayment no USA listing.

They will get the new Directors from the sound of things but this is also PwC doing the investigations so don't this would have even been a week's work. Also we have to consider the timeline from appointing them and PwC actually starting investigations. Its not a case of ring up Friday for help and somebody walks through the door Monday. Only a few weeks ago there were posts here expecting this to take ages so take your pick!

If Wei Qi is exonerated then see no case at all why he should be replaced. At the AGM he seemed a very competent person be it struggling a little bit with English in answering a question (which he did well). Why should he be affected by a false accusation (which would be the case in this scenario). Even DM could make the same case but I think everybody now sees the need for a "strategic" management change anyway. I would agree that even if the accusation is ultimately unproven, there must have been some form of activity to allow Scott to make an accusation (unless Scott was bitter and twisted and was really stupid here), so I would be amazed if there wasn't something that had to be corrected justifying change in management roles and new CFO and CEO as a result. Even if completely unproven, the fact that it has happened gives a catalyst now to restructure the management team and even give some momentum to the focus and growth of the new contract initiatives. Turn a big negative into a positive potential here?

But still all speculation until we know!
