24/2/2016 01:40 | Val Sad to see the decimation of so many good people mislead over the years, so many broken promises and false dawns. At the recent AGM I observed the absence of so many investors with heavy heart. Like FB, I long for a day when finally the true long term supporters and new investors alike can have an AGM that fulfils BMRs promise, the assets are still there. alas for the old Vangaurd, 50 P is not an easy achievement, and many can make a killing way before the long termers see a return on our investment of hard earned cash and good faith. True quality will out. We can but wait and see. GLA. | stav5001

17/2/2016 15:28 | Stav - thanks for the feedback. I agree wholeheartedly with your views on the World bank. I posted a "Lead" article on LSE BMR thread which clearly states there is very little to like about the metal when it interacts with our species. It must simply be removed. Yes, the fundamental questions are still to be answered, only then will value out, and the caveat, if it is extractable on a low cost basis. I’m not sure how the share price has influenced PI’s, we may get a clue from the offer, which I took. To think, in December 2010 I believe our MC was around 60 million and we are at 4 today. A long ways to go and the years keep passing. All the best to all holders. | fireball xl5
17/2/2016 11:52 | Hi Stav, It would have been great to meet up with you again and chew over things but life got in the way on the day of the AGM. Rotten timing unfortunately... Feeling for you and the others who have far bigger amounts and far more attached to this than I could ever be. The frustration is that the asset is there and it's a great one. We're unloved at the moment by both the market and PI's but AIM has a funny habit of surprising you. Here's hoping. Good luck and see you soon hopefully. | valencia0312
17/2/2016 10:36 | FB It was nice to meet a few of the old stalwarts, who like me are now coming to terms with the magnitude of what happened here, but overall a disappointing turnout when you consider the PI share base that this company has / had. The asset is still there, the zinc and lead price pendulum has swung too far, and should rebound. What counts is that the company makes good on its promise of Zinc and Lead production. The critical factors are proving the cost of extraction per ton, and the extraction rates. Once these are finally verified on a rolling monthly basis, then the company can finally be valued. Proving that we are lowest quartile in terms of cost of extraction is the key to our future.. As for supplying the brick making material, that is a very pragmatic idea to dispose of the waste whilst also being paid for it. BMR needs working capital. However, I was surprised to hear that we have not even tested a single brick to see if our material has any USP, like higher strength or thermal insulation qualities. As for the World Bank, in my opinion this needs further work, and should not be put on the back burner as it is clear to me that no matter how many millions of dollars they or anyone else throws at Kabwe, without BMR, removing the tailings it will always end in disaster. Their own previous report acknowledges the inefficiencies. The biggest bang for anyone's buck who seriously wants to clean up Kabwe is clearly to help little BMR. No BMR involvement, no clean up....simple. Their involvement if possible would be a gamechanger. | stav5001
