26/2/2014 15:47 | They have already said revenue will be within broker forecast for 2013Story for 2014 might different | hamidahamida
26/2/2014 10:59 | This company looks similar to Blur whats peoples thoughts? | ![]() hibberts
26/2/2014 10:22 | Yesterday I commented that Blur suggested they wouldn't move into profit until the end of 2014. I have done some number crunching and am prepared to 'stick my neck above the parapet' and make estimates for 2013 year end. Last year they reported their figures in mid April, so we will still have some time to wait for official figures. The latest Broker Estimates for Revenue on - suggest a figure for 2013 of $9.88m I believe this is vastly underestimated. I believe the figure will be nearer $25m Their operating costs are more difficult to predict, particularly as they have been expanding rapidly, taking on staff etc. Nevertheless, I think they will come in less than revenue. Consequently, they will make a profit for 2013, a year ahead of their previous estimate. Furthermore I think Revenue will grow to circa $125m by end of 2014. I'm not going to be surprised if others take a different view. (If I'm wrong, I'm wrong). Keep a note of Post 1482. I would love to tell everyone 'told you so' in a few weeks time. If I'm wildly out, you will know not to take any notice of me in future. | ![]() referencepoint
26/2/2014 08:36 | I would like Blur to go up if it deserves to. I could equally say a shorter 'wants' it to go down. I have said that I am concerned about the general market and every sector has its day ...even techs... that is for me more of a concern. If the market goes down then most likely stocks across the board will be affected. I hold some speculative stocks in the hope that in the future they will be well known names and am prepared to ride the ups and downs of the stock market in some of them. Of course not every share is going to be a winner and we can be disappointed. We are often told not to put in more than we are prepared to lose and that is sound advice on any share. Reference point had a sensible post 1439 from the common sense angle. | ![]() hazl
26/2/2014 08:11 | This could easily rally several pounds after its deeply oversold position. | ![]() j777j
26/2/2014 08:02 | Morning all, yes amazing the amount of new projects going through the exchange! should push the share price up. gla | ![]() wisteria2
26/2/2014 07:56 | Just look at the increasing blue chip customer base that Blur are working with "Further scope for continuing large projects is also promised, in the form of a partnership in Innovators International, a global association with 50+ corporate members, including 3M, Pernod Ricard, The Shekar Group (part of Tata), The Mayo Clinic and Patagonia." | ![]() j777j
26/2/2014 04:25 | Project values gone up again overnight by USD 2mn from about USD 164m (which included the 2.3mn contract) to USD 166.3mn | ![]() malhashemi
26/2/2014 01:32 | I thought yump was a chump at the start BUT he does ask valid questions and anyone who can give him direct answers, I can't by the way, would do well to just answer. He talks sense and nobody should fall in love with a company especially if you have a large sum invested in it. I like the story and hope it all pans out. As I say I cannot believe BLUR are spending so heavily on staff, premises etc.. if it is all a bluff. I don't have tens of thousands invested here like others no doubt have though! Just a few thousand which at this stage is enough ;-) | ![]() lauders
25/2/2014 23:06 | I am well invested here for long term i'll keep buying on dips the story is amazing Growth fantastic. But I do enjoy the fight between the bears and the bulls | hamidahamida
25/2/2014 23:01 | Ej: I respect ur view I have a big retail operation you can't make every one happy you do get unhappy customers but the ratio is very low that's part of the game. As far as I am concern blur have a big repeat business thats good enough for me all the big names keep coming back if ur looking for 100% happy customers on each side ur living on another planet. | hamidahamida

25/2/2014 21:07 | Yump - look on blurs site at their terms and conditions - there are all sorts of fees in there and most if not all of your questions are answered. | collectivefriction
25/2/2014 19:20 | you have been here most of the day you certainly cannot have enough to do...to wait for a response. I have been following shares for many, many years and I am just not prepared to spend any more time on you. | ![]() hazl
25/2/2014 18:33 | indeed, and I'm certainly not going to get into any question and answer set up with you yump, you are too confrontational. It is up to us if we wish to keep our shares or not. perhaps PSL needs your words of wisdom more than we do. | ![]() hazl
25/2/2014 17:48 | I will say it again, for those that are genuinely interested in this company, there is plenty of research out there which addresses all those questions. We know certain posters have no interest, they are merely here to disrupt what was a rather civilised board. Shame really. | ![]() j777j
25/2/2014 17:38 | Just jumped another $800k!! | ![]() pyglet

25/2/2014 15:40 | Broker N+1 Singer reckons the recent weakness in the shares means now is an "attractive entry point" for investors. It notes the shares are still up 210% in the last 12 months and blur remains well positioned to disrupt the US$2tn business services market. The group has grown dramatically in its first years as a public company, analyst Tintin Stormont notes, from projects submitted totalling around us$18mln at its initial public offering (IPO) to around US$163mln today. "The group continues to make investments in terms of technology, people, and infrastructure to build on its first mover advantage." This is the most exciting company I own by far and I have been trading tech stocks for the best part of thirty years. | ![]() j777j |
