Two weeks seems a bit early for any more excitement. Investors will hardly have recovered from the excitement of Blur recruiting some more people.

Peeps shoudl be focusing on what a scam the market makers run.
This is a young dynamic fast growing company using disruptive technology to it's advantage.
If it succeeds the share will be well over £100 in the next five years. If it doesn't,they may lanugish.

As someone once said,"you never know until you place your bet."

With regards to the seeming slow down in larger tickets I'm not that worried - in fact lots of small projects is better than a few large ones (even if total value is less) as this is less risky for cash flow etc and probably comes in at better margins

My observation/opinion is that the new jobs/recruitment and continuing pace of new jobs being offered must mean business is good surely? It would be 'nuts' for any company to be employing so many staff (including people from Microgen & Virgin Media etc...) if business was bad or there was no vision and progress. Lett's can't be that stupid! I am sure the ones who don't believe will be round shortly to say he is 'nuts' and is just blowing everything as fast as he can. Worth reading this bit from another article:

What is your greatest business achievement to date?

blur grou, without question. Having been the CEO taking existing companies through the tricky secondary growth phase, I wnated to do it from scratch. EIGHT years and a lot of hard work later my idea of a company that really would change the way businesses work is now a reality - and I've seen it reach the stage where I've previously arrived in a business.

Does that sound like someone who is going to blow it through reckless hiring and thritting away resources willy-nilly? Not to me.

EJ - Are you still around. Have you had time to evaluate blur 4.0? Would really be interested in your feedback, good or bad!

Blur is clearly doing well and increasing the right calibre of staff imo

'The new faces are clear testament to the strength of a shared vision, says company founder and CEO Philip Letts: "We are building a great global company by hiring and promoting great people. The spectacular growth in our business has made blur a destination employer. Our staff, new and current, share a vision which is generating a real excitement about working for and with blur.'

there seems no stopping it!

seems to me the doomsters dare to come here only
when its gone down a tad....
they have missed out on the excitement of being first at the start of such an innovative and fast moving share.
Can only assume their other investments must be boring for them to spend so musch time here....

Yes, I seem to remember that Blur invented crowd sourcing.

Actually, come to think of it didn't they invent the 'cloud'.
Or was it smoke ?

I forget ;-)

video interview
blur Group casting its net wide for recruits to support growth surge

Crowd sourcing pioneer blur Group has been hiring staff across the board since it moved to Exeter, which is developing as a rival to the Silicon Fen in and around Cambridge. CEO Philip Letts tells Proactiveinvestors it is recruiting from all over the world and the recruits find the high-tech environment invigorating, while there is also "an amazing amount" of local talent. Letts also talks about the well-deserved promotions of Jon Hogg, who is now chief platform officer, and Dorothy Mead, who becomes chief acquisition officer.

Just think which shares could catch everyone's imagination if they got a bit of PR, (ignore revenue and profits), buy a selection of them early as a punt. Sit on them and if you can't believe your luck one morning, sell the lot.

Unless the actual business has caught up with the share price, which inevitably it won't have.

4 bagger in a year is a lot of bank interest.

Not that I was invested here. "Changing the way global business operates" or whatever, was a step too far for me. (Seeing as there were already project quote based websites in existance).

My error really, as it obviously is totally credible enough for enough punters to hike the price in a big way. I keep forgetting that a huge number of people are almost addicted to online games, poker and gambling... and the stock market is a game.
