It's a pertinent and highly relevant article. You either choose to treat it with disdain or accept it as a valuable addition to your store of knowledge. It all adds up to a better understanding and informed appreciation of current events in Greenland

thanks

Meanwhile in the Titanium world, Chemours is seeing robust demand.

Chemours President and CEO Mark Vergnano said: "We ended 2017 with incredible momentum in all of our businesses and strong demand signals for both Fluoroproducts and Titanium Technologies. With nearly one quarter behind us, we continue to see robust demand for Ti-Pure™ titanium dioxide

That’s good then!

Regarding China, I don’t see an issue, they have equity stakes already in most parts of the World, they own the Electricity company where I live.
They are also building Nuclear Power stations in the U.K.

I sense, though I could be wrong (I usually am), that this airport construction contract is also tied in with natural resource agreements. It's the way the Chinese do business. It's been their strategy in Africa for years now. Build roads, airports, infrastructure etc and then gain favoured access to natural resources at good rates.

But, the US has an ICBM monitoring base on Greenland. And that's a big but. The US will not tolerate Chinese involvement or influence in such a strategically important part of the world

Let's see what happens

ps - the Chinese are heavily involved in Australia though and the Aussie govt don't see a problem. Though the Greenland govt is so small and without influence that it may be open to manipulation and undue influence. Maybe a US or Danish government official is required to be involved at all times

To me, the shares are rangebound between 22 & 26 and have only drifted recently due to no news. JORC is the big one together with the potential Disko hive off. IMO, once the split takes place there could be considerable interest in Disko and it wouldn't surprise me if they are taken over fairly quickly (hopefully at a very healthy premium). We just need to be patient as news can't be far away now

Global markets been wibbly wobbly.. No Jorc.. Losses elsewhere.. Some selling to cover other losses I suppose.Wouldn't panic dudes... Stay focused on what we think is coming out very Very soon. Is the Jorc in the price?? Maybe if its a big number. But if it's a monster BIG number. Then it should set off large upgrades by the analysts who cover it.. And should bring in new research coverage by the big investment banks. That's what I'm hoping for.

Ah, so ING is the culprit. The book's been offer heavy for a few days now.......

as with all the stocks I own they need real news, real transformational news

TR1 out. Dutch investor ING Group below 5% ie from 5.16% down to 4.99%. Equates to 1.44 million shares sold, if my sums are correct.

There's our seller then. Who knows why? Possibly an end of tax year related transaction.

Allows the rest of us a lower entry / top-up level I suppose.

would they not want the disko spin off to happen before we bring out any kind of validation/invitation for the big players to start potentially making a play for the company as whole? I thought this was the whole point to separate things on the off chance this might happen. this being the case could this be the hold up?

Going back to Macca's post 2682, maybe this jigsaw will be a lot easier to assemble if several of the pieces are put down at the same time or at least in very quick succession; I'm thinking JORC, offtake, Disko spin off etc. If that's the case, no harm in telling SRK not to put the results in the post for a few days if that helps the process.

I must say, that waiting for a JORC has to be up there with drying paint! Feel sorry for us, Bluejay as a company.

Years ago, when Rio Tinto was started in Spain - buying a large Artisan worked area
of Copper in the 1870’s - it had been worked since antiquity. Not a single JORC !

Nowadays, nobody will do anything without belt, braces & a ream of paper to tell
how the great, long, black beach in Greenland that’s been written about for over a century is, in fact, one of the richest, most pure sources in Massive quantities of a
material that is needed throughout society in increasing quantities.

So, we wait. Not the company’s fault, not the Experts who have to prepare , the whole thing is to prove to the world what is there.
Ironic isn’t it? we know it’s there, just as Rio Tinto knew there was Copper back in Spain.
Yep, Modern times.!

I think that the company would release a JORC pretty much as soon as it was delivered to them

I think that material news could be read by the company but not shared outside.
That reading has a limit, ie you can’t just sit on stuff forever.

Everything RM has done here has been correct, we need to give him space to do what is right - and then we will have an RNS.

Despite sand being simple to understand, there is still the question of how big it should be at start off, we don’t know who talks are with, - it could be that more than one entity that would like a sizeable start order.

It’s far better than a little orebody that they only need 1 Ship a year for!

Big box, little box, big box, little box..
I've been told to relax and chillout.
The reason WE haven't had the JORC yet must be for good reasons.
I.e.. its a big box they need to model.

We'll be on the Dancefloor very soon. Needs to be good to keep us happy though!

Have you any idea how long it takes to count Ilmenite grains?

looks like an iceberg sell order using the shape 6766 as the known amount.
so if he was selling 100k, the shape spearheading the trade and repeating would only show 6766.
probably just someones favourite number.
nothing unusual Graham

What's in a number? 17 trades (sells) close together for 6,766 each s some additional cumulative, consecutive trades that add up to 6,766 Odd! Someone sending a signal in their own version of morse code.

That is exactly the sort of information we need - rather than Geo politics!(with respect)
i think that reducing time and cost of creating Titanium means that the mass market for the product will grow as uses for it that were previously too costly,, now,
are within reach.
