20/11/2018 21:33 | Yep, present. There is a lot of Ilmenite up there. I have compared it to a lot of other mineral sands companies. This is worth staying the distance - my opinion. R. | rampair
20/11/2018 19:33 | yes me too thebigchap still holding. | thebigchap
20/11/2018 18:07 | Perhaps we should have a roll call. Shutittrev still here. | shutittrev
20/11/2018 18:06 | only 41 days left this year so 35 days for Christmas. will we get some goodies for under the tree? | moreminer

11/11/2018 16:45 | graham10k Re Base Compare the purity/grade of their mined ilmenite, the amount of resource, the expected life of the mine, capital requirements of using the traditional labour intensive mining methods, not to mention the fact that they are located in Africa (political risk) and are in considerable debt? Bluejay will have the advantage in each of the above points when production commences and are a far superior investment choice for me. Additional upside for JAY will be possible bid for the Dundas asset and huge potential from the Disko asset. | monts12
11/11/2018 14:46 | Anyone seen the article in the MoS today regarding Base Resources? It could almost be for JAY only we are not producing. BSE are reported to be shifting 435k tons of ilmenite which is in line with our predicted 450k tons as and when we have a declared buyer. No shortage then! | graham10k
10/11/2018 11:44 | Thanks for clearing that up Devereaux. bjlk: (4920) If you remind yourself of the report here; You will see the comment "individual models of the PFS will be released as and when they are completed, starting in November." Therefore we should soon have some sort of update however, it is in Q1 2019 that there should be some meaningful updates. Be patient, its frustrating for us all. | graham10k
09/11/2018 22:21 | Graham 10k re 4919 Apologies for delay in replying I was going to enter something which had been covered previously. Nothing sinister - sorry it was misunderstood. I am an LTH up to my ears. | devereaux
08/11/2018 09:41 | Come on bluejay yawn yawn... | bjlk
07/11/2018 18:34 | Devereaux, explanation! | graham10k
07/11/2018 15:39 | My mistake | devereaux
07/11/2018 11:43 | moreminder :Tend to side with option 4,seen something similar on one of my other stocks a couple of years back and the amount accrued (as in this case adding all the single and double trades together ~248)was then shown as a minus on the share trades after the close of play. Be interesting to see if the same happens here. | jackhenleo
07/11/2018 10:38 | Someone cleaning out the closet perhaps? Or a trader with shaking hands? Or a day trader with fear? Hick up in software? | moreminer
07/11/2018 10:10 | An explanation of the early 'silly' trades today would be nice. Any suggestions? | graham10k
01/11/2018 21:56 | Dear Snowy Flake I just hope this company will begin to fulfill its promises. Thus far it has under delivered in terms of deadlines. Too much loose chatter around Piccadilly. Time for McIllree to deliver to shareholders. We don’t want to be another Greenland Energy who he left behind..... | summerfield1
31/10/2018 17:03 | Oops, looks like the share price slipped UP! | rampair
31/10/2018 14:25 | summerfield - I reread the header timelines in the interim statement. Whilst you do not allege that the company is behind in its estimates, I think that having set out those timelines, it cannot be suggested or implied that the company is behind any of those estimates. | snowyflake
31/10/2018 13:16 | Volume has dried up.The company must deliver news as set out in the timeline described in the Interim Statement. No more slippage. | summerfield1
31/10/2018 11:48 | Thank you Rampair for that Eramet link. If Eramet were to do business with Bluejay it would mean transport around the base of Greenland and then up the west coast to Dundas, should processing take place at Bergen. | snowyflake
31/10/2018 09:35 | Eramet has also been busy in Acquiring assets for Norwegian processing at the plant in Norway, they use a Dredger that operates in its own man made lake as it extracts Ilmenite and Leucoxene(weathered Ilmenite) plus other elements at a plant in Senegal This is at a grade of 2% mineral sands. The Ilmenite is sent up to Norway for processing It’s not exactly a great distance from Greenland to Norway and as ERAMET are a very large corporation who are keen to Expand - they may well be a Company that would be interested in Greenlandic Ilmenite. Again, during their takeover of Mineral Deposits earlier this year - that took a lot of negotiating before completing. The above video gives an overview of the process, including the Dredge extraction in action. - R. | rampair
31/10/2018 09:00 | We know that the company is engaged in talks with potential off take partners; what we do not know is how far any of those discussions have advanced. We also know that many TiO2 producers are having various problems which is worth following. However producers of rutile, zircon and ilmenite are also facing problems some of which have been highlighted on this bb. Such problems reduce supply of the raw material. The latest miner to release a negative report is Iluka Resources on 23rd October when the company announced a strike at the operations of its subsidiary Sierra Rutile. SRX (SRL) mines rutile, zircon and ilmenite. Some may recall that I had a holding in SRX and that I was disappointed in the take-out price achieved. Be that as it may the fact is that including the debt of building the Gangama mine and infrastructure, SRX was sold for £250 million. M & G (Prudential) one of our large institutional investors had a 20% stake in SRX; I do not believe that M & G were impressed by the take-out price. I think that it would be fair to say that M & G would not be invested in Bluejay unless it understood the potential. A party will want our ilmenite; it is a question of patience but it is worthwhile investors watching the 5th October IG interview of the ceo again for a good update on progress. | snowyflake |
