bigboyblue,
Taking a similar positive view as similar yourself, the phrase "locking down"was sometimes mentioned in my field of work of the construction industry.
After the submittal of several written proposals and lengthy discussions the wording of "locking down" was the final stage which was also known as crossing the "T"s and dotting the "I"s of an agreement before a contract (although verbally agreed in priciple) was signed and exchanged between the companies/parties involved.

Liked the part about....

-- Hard rock ilmenite sources were also evaluated for their exploration potential, and to understand the depositional environment.

-- Results underpin the potential to increase the Project resource and accordingly life of mine even further.

So not just the high purity ilmenite but potential to increase ilmenite resource as more product and further quantities available although a feasability study should show how cost effective that might be, obviously more expensive to process than the sands but still further ilmenite and possibly other resources in situ in the license area.

Interesting phraseology about the offtakes. Previously Rod has spoken of final dicussions, now it's "locking down agreements" with "several" major players involved. Several would suggest to me at least 3 possible offtake partners and "locking down" would suggest that agreements have perhaps been made in principle with one or more of them and these just need final details clarified.

It can be difficult sometimes not to pour over every word when we get news like this trying to look for the exact meaning, but that would be my reading of it. Any thoughts?

Operations completed, 68 drills complete (and no permafrost), discussion to arrange offtakes on entire planned production. That will do nicely. Role onto next RNS on licensing submission then off-take agreement announcements. That's the order of events as I see it up to the end of this year.

If Macca, and others, were actually forced to sell some shares recently it was solely down to Align and TW (another character with a very shady past) colluding together to spread false rumours to manipulate the share price. For Richie then to gloat about causing these losses is beyond me.
Having known Macca for nearly 20 years he is a more genuine and better person than Jennings will ever be , hence his numerous vile spouts.

Does Mr Frangeskides the Executive Chairman Of Alba and presumably rewarding Align?, know that you seem to hold doubts about the ability to Mine at Moriusaq, West Greenland? He holds 4 licences in that country and I’m fairly sure that he wouldn’t want the Country run down as a place to go mining?
On May 31 Align tweeted that the field season finished in 3 months. That is not the case is it? The USAF Airbase at Thule operates 365 days a year, 3000 international flights per year.
Amitsoq, Disko, numerous places operate many months longer. In Southern Greenland you can operate year round.
An example,at sites that have frozen roads you can reach drill sites that are not accessible during summer.
Did you know geophysical modelling can be improved in colder ground?

This is not really of relevance because Inglefield Land - your Clients licence, is much further North than Moriusaq. Have you explained to your client that the strategy appears to be to state that there isn’t much time to work in the North? How do you square the circle?

How long have you spent in Greenland?

Qaanaaq,Narsaq,Qeqertat and Etah are all towns further North than Moriusaq - all of them have people living and fishing and working all around the year - Qaanaaq being
600+ people.

This sums it up in my opinion, a Tweet. Then re tweeted.

It’s interesting how many comments come out that are based on guesses, supposition etc. Take the 22 August re tweet by Traders cafe Zak Mir,

“BluejayMining Bell_equipment we note the ice floes forming already adding to our concerns re shipping window and as confirmed by operators on the ground, ie u don’t have the time
in that window to get proper volume out. That’s before talking about Permafrost...”

Firstly, it was melting ice from a Glacier.(its flat) sea ice forms in lumps due to wave action, therefore the water was warmer rather than the cold implied - another error.

Secondly, you are pointing this out and it’s right next to your client! So keen to cast doubt?

Thirdly, As confirmed by operators on the ground.(!!!) - who’s operators? Please tell.

Fourthly, “That’s before talking about Permafrost “. Oh dear. As you can see from the independently validated JAY 30m plus cores - no ice.

Sadly it all became clearer when Alba released an RNS two days later - August 24th
that Thule Black sands drilled to a maximum depth of 2metres due to....Permafrost.

In Greenland you need experience to pick the right licence site imo.

Very interesting information Snowyflake. I wonder if the local Chamber of Commerce and other organisations are aware of this.
I remember Jennings wishing everybody on this thread dies of cancer. A thoroughly repellent individual.

Snowyflake So Align charge a fee for posting positive reviews for listed companies.I always wondered where they got their rent money for a table, chair and mini filing cabinet positioned in the corner of a job centre in Shipley nr Bradford, that they call their Head Office.
Richie666-Advfn = richieboy666 Lse BB who I thought could very well be Richard Gill(check Align website for his designate)
However carrying out further research the records show that he resigned from Align in May2016 after only 4months,but as you,all notice is still shown as an employee on their website.
