30/8/2018 07:23 | Base reports FY 2018 results Base Resources released 2018 financial year results with sales volumes of 91,672 tonnes of rutile, 464,988 tonnes of ilmenite and 37,157 tonnes of zircon. Revenue increased to US$198.8 million (FY 2017: US$162.4 million) with net profit of US$34.0 million (FY 2017: US$15.8 million). Note revenues vs profit, one reason why Dundas’s value is high - much less processing to extract the ilmenite. | dippygirl

28/8/2018 17:36 | Titanium Dioxide is about to become a very much sought after product. For those that have yet to discover , a revolution is starting in nano coatings, TiO2 appears on the top of the list of agents that in Nano particle form can help disinfect, kill viruses, moulds, etc if you search for self cleaning TiO2 you will see why the Ilmenite at Dundas will soon be a very much needed feedstock See: R. | rampair

28/8/2018 08:06 | Thanks to minder 5 also for the insomnia award! Lol well done team, how a B.B. should work for PI’s - I did read a cheeky article in Denmark about using mining companies to gain data on the Arctic! Saves University cash I guess....sure it was just rumour Lol. | rampair
28/8/2018 07:34 | Thanks TBC it’s really good this third and final years monitoring is in - important because it was the extra year asked for that slowed down the EIA - however, the Environment of this area has to be protected, luckily JAY are not using anything other than sifting sand and separating the 2mm/63 micron particles that contain the Ilmenite and the rest goes back on the beach. Well done to Orbicon for completing this Fieldwork. R. | rampair
28/8/2018 05:12 | From Twitter this morning: $JAY has now completed its third and final year of environmental impact assessment baseline sampling at #Dundas! Fantastic work by the field team! #Orbicon #Greenland #EIA #biology #mining. All the pieces coming together. | minder5
25/8/2018 18:20 | Longrod - I would not be surprised if the toerag thought up something else; but at least those connected to JAY are wise to the toerag's rubbish. There remains the task of advising the wider audience; having said that Alba punters now know better that the toerag is unreliable at best. The geezer in the Greek hovel is ranting about something else today - another sad and embittered creature. Google Rivington Street Holdings for insight. One of my colleagues in the office hails from your land. | snowyflake
25/8/2018 17:17 | up early for a walk and just noticed the tweet. also if you click on the photo in that tweet you see all the core impressive stuff anything to add jennings? maybe you want to say its radioactive or something equally intelligent? you might need to confer with your little greek partner on how you can make up something like this for little old alba. | longrod
25/8/2018 09:56 | That stuff looks BLACK, and lots of it. Good timing by JAY after yesterday's report by Alba! I don't mind mentioning it again, not because I wish any ill fortune to their shareholders, but because of the Alba/Malign propaganda. I can't help wondering what Richie will write next, or whether as Longrod suggests the whole thing will be airbrushed from history....R: just sent you a pm (I know you don't often check them) | bigboyblue
25/8/2018 09:27 | Brilliant Tweet showing Metres of Itelak Ilmenite, please have a look at something That will make your day better No Permafrost | rampair |
