Sky - how do they obtain their revenues - fees for services, profit sharing? Do they take a piece of the mines that they re-open etc?

Ttg – the auto charts for the header don’t include indicators I’m afraid. However, as a chartist I am likely to post as below from time to time. Interesting to note that the share price has broken the downtrend and the indicators are rising. Even more interesting is the close up of the Moving Averages; looks as though the 50day may shortly cross the 200day with both in rising mode – a bullish golden X.

If anyone is minded to average down / top up – then now might be the time to do so! If Gold continues to hold firm then this could well find itself included in the New Year tips.

Great grades! I make that c. 150,000 oz gold at the upper end of the estimate ( excluding silver) and this is just a small area of the mine.
Add the obvious huge benefits of simply reopening a mine rather than years of drilling and hugely expensive mine development, this is an interesting share to be accumulating, just at a time when gold will likely start to move north again.

highly geared

How much will the drilling cost?

I think this ought to be enough for a re-rate.

Well done team!

Colin Patterson, CEO, commented:

"Once again our team have demonstrated that our strategy of reviewing old mines which were closed down years ago with the intent of reopening them has huge cost benefits when compared to a conventional exploration model. For a relatively small outlay the team have accessed safe and usable underground tunnels and generated huge amounts of geological and production information. Our primary goal is to rapidly and safely get into commercial production in the most cost-effective manner possible, to ensure the highest investment return for shareholders. We look forward to updating the market on any developments soon."

They are keeping costs to the minimum as well by the looks of it.

Agreed, HG, it is very encouraging, and we are being given plenty time to accumulate. Maybe after metallurgy results, or drilling next spring more interest will appear.

standard.they aren't messing about to prove up resources..first get into production - they know what they have in terms of mineable ounces make the numbers worth it - then later on drill to add to resources/prove up saves us a couple of years..these were functioning mining throwing off a decent amount of cash.v v cheap imo

tsmith,

Good news indeed, but always take note of the whole news release.

"Note to Editors

It should be noted that Mineral Potential is akin to Geological Potential, conceptual in nature, and there has been insufficient information to define a Mineral Resource or Ore Reserve as defined under the respective international codes. "

hazl,

I din't say raising at a premium was bad, I was referring to the constant usage of the word "premium" in the RNS, that's all.

I thought it was tacky to overstate it, good people would have noted it the first time, so no need to keep repeating it.

The sum raised at the premium was fairly modest, but it's all good.

ABSOLUTELY.
It's not specific to BMV but more about general market sentiment and sentiment towatds
the sector.
Therefore to raise at a premium is good,to state otherwise suggests bias,to me.

hazl,

Not covering myself at all, They raised a fairly modest sum, at a premium to the current shareprice, in a difficult market for current mining juniors.

The price hardly rose on the news, and fell slightly on Friday, hence my "market has discounted the news" comment, which looks accurate if you check out the price.

A low gold price is clearly not helping anyone, especially the gold juniors'
