Cambria figured in the recent sale by Chief Oil and Gas LLC and Tug Hill Inc., a Dallas-based investment firm, to Chevron Corp. of Marcellus holdings in Cambria, Somerset, Bedford and Blair counties for an undisclosed amount.

Bluebird Energy plc interests in Marcellus Shale are in the northeast region and the acreage is close to pipelines with rights of way established. However, the leases are not contiguous and we value the acreage conservatively at a benchmark price of US $1,800 per acre, which implies a valuation for 3,859.40 net acres of US $6,946,920or UK £4,341,825.

I was the only PI to attend the AGM at Bristol. Had a go at one director, I can tell you and it wasn't DB. They said that were looking to sell the land in the USA, which may be shale rich. With all the movement in the USA re shale and prices, varying between $15,000 to $25,000 per acre, I have no idea how 'rich' the land is in shale resource, or how many acres they own. Got to be worth more today than when they bought it. Might phone today.
