30/11/2017 09:26 | SELL price now higher than BUY price, may we know what could be the technical reason? Asking for learning purposes. | ashehzi
30/11/2017 09:22 | no big sells/buys, moving on slow volume and seems hitting exit points. | ashehzi
30/11/2017 09:17 | Blimey, that's a bit steep. Any bad news? Or just a pullback? John | 2350220

24/11/2017 15:45 | Thank you very much for your valuable insight. I do sometimes find it difficult to get emotions out of trading. Funnily enough I have used just that technique when buying gold and silver companies but this was one I was pretty sure of so I guess I put into a different category to you. I must read that author! I have heard him quoted often enough! | hazl
24/11/2017 14:06 | Hi hazl, sent you a pm, but the important thing imv, is to get rid of the attitude of regreting losses (loss aversion). I do this, for high risk/high reward equities, by seeding a small stake and "forgetting" it. If i lose 100% of the stake i don't regret it and move on. Couple this with the criterion of "buying more as prices move up" then ensures, to me, that I end up with a reasonable stake in a successful investment. I think this approach works well for profit making growth stocks too eg SSPG and FEVR. The successful ones, capital wise, should outweigh significantly the "losers" as you don't add to losers no matter how convinced you are of the investment (the market price action decides that). I have WAND and IMG amongst this type of loser... for one reason or another. A good read is Jesse Livermore "The reminiscences of a Stock Operator" but there are many quotes of his worth thinking about on the net. | sogoesit
24/11/2017 13:57 | Thanks for you PM Sogoesit understood! Good ol' PRISM. | hazl
24/11/2017 12:45 | SOGOESIT I really admire your style, when you go for it ,you go for it. However,I am not completely understanding your post 2126 . Are you saying you will never realise any profit and that that is why it is 'lost in your mind'....or what? I imagine, that the attitude you took when you initially went for them, was different perhaps to your various alternative investments? Now they have done you proud....perhaps what you weren't expecting...I am needing to understand! | hazl
24/11/2017 12:13 | I liked prorealtime also and will get its free trial first. Thanks bamboo for keeping trendlines in mind. This is my weekest point as I'm not getting time to study. PRT is expensive but good for one with big portfolio. | ashehzi
24/11/2017 10:50 | Off she goes again! companies cant resist these bots! Pitty about the "freeing up resources to fullfill more business critical roles" line spun out by customers. :/ | bokies
24/11/2017 10:42 | truly astounding. someone just paid 16.52! | janeann

24/11/2017 10:24 | SP strong; been adding in 1590's last few days... when my 4G works. Now 7% of portfolio so a bit to go yet on the overall exposure level. Good luck! | sogoesit
24/11/2017 10:00 | o/t ash, thanks. I am evaluating Prorealtime at the moment. Will get around to IG. The PRT auto trendlines are very interesting and appear to work on aim stocks. Some of them do not correspond with mine, but some do and it is a useful extra confirmation. PI, Currently on some stocks the historical candlestick data only goes as far as 17 November. Is this your experience? | bamboo2
24/11/2017 09:53 | I was just rereading the recent news article 'Blue Prism proves market leadership....' and it's very impressive whichever way you look at it. Towards the bottom where it talks about Pat Geary taking on the role of the chief Evangelist.....and rightly proud of his invention of the term RPA,I believe.... and Shail Khaiyara taking on the role of CMXO,it makes you realise they are never going to stand still in this business. This firm has had already played a unique role in the future changes, not just in the financial industry but in a revolutionary role in how humans interact. I don't know what the share-price will do in the immediate while, but this firm will I think, continue to etch a place in the changes that we are all witnessing and continue to provide excitement. | hazl
23/11/2017 15:44 | Come on the big one six!! | paul1will
23/11/2017 13:36 | Also having a look at SharePad | jgoold
23/11/2017 11:25 | Yes at a click of a button, you can switch between ask, bid, mid and last traded price, both on web interface and app charts. | ashehzi
23/11/2017 08:04 | o/t Panic, PRT charting looks interesting. Is it using MID price or Last price data feed? I've been finding that Last Price data distorts daily candle shape, particularly when late trades are reported. ash, I'd be interesed to know if your IG charts can switch between the two different price inputs. | bamboo2 |
