It sounds like you have probably been doing this a bit longer then me, and that you have more conviction taking trades. I tend to average in and average out, making gains more opaque. Well done for carrying on since 2009.

I have a trendline that connects the peaks on the multi-year DJI. Price has clearly broken above this line, leaving historical resistance behind. A re-test then bounce off or near this line would be hugely positive for the future. Perhaps Trump will step down.

On PRSM I see today's break out on good above-average volume from the triangle formed from the top on 31/05 as a major move so I now expect to accumulate.
The uptrend base-line has been intact since 16/06 (actually it goes back to 23/03 just before the last wedge break-out interestingly).

Well, bamboo, if you've got a system that works you need to be disciplined and stick to it... which you appear to do.
If you deviate then the "muddle-headedness" creeps in and leads to failure imv.
A lot of this stuff is psychological/behavioural.

North Korea:
I've only ever pre-sold a major market turn and that was Black Monday October 1987 on a gut-feeling;
The dot-com bubble I sold out 2 weeks after the top for a 30% loss peak to sell-out after the 1995-2000 run; saw it coming but was too slow over the Christmas of 1999.
The 1997 Asian Crisis I lost all investments in funds that were "expropriated" by various asian governments; got caught-out on that one.
The 2008/2009 Financial Crisis I consciously stuck it out and doubled=up early 2009.

I'm still on the 2009 conveyor... I feel there may be a correction sometime as the US is over-valued imv. Maybe NK will be the trigger for that but I don't see any major market turns for the time being.
Having said which the market will then prove me wrong ;-)

No reply. They have no idea about news.

Indeed, its been in a nice uptrend since 19/06.
Now in the mid-trend with channel top at the 950 level.

Last year's Trading Statement was on 5 August.
(But nothing published on their site).

Don't like the present chart pattern so been offloading, finally fully jumped yesterday.

This company has a huge upside, which obviously the big funds recognise!

Will watch closely and come back aboard once the news and charts are more conducive. I may miss out on some upside but needed to bank profits.

Interesting article, but making progress in such a field is attained by thinking outside the present group think and really does not involve huge amounts of money. Japan had the idea that they were going to create a new generation of computer architecture back in the 90's, only to realise that they had spent 10s of billions and had not even achieved keeping up with the natural incremental increases with the market's computer architecture.
I believe Mr King of BP is an AI expert and sold a start up company years ago specialising in AI (and all of its derivations)for the leading stock exchanges.
