Blue Prism v6.5, the latest RPA software will include full Japanese and simplified Chinese language capabilities, IPv6 support, and data gateways, offering more data control while reducing the amount of storage being used. This access will be made available through DX and supports the company’s academia program launched last April, which encourages innovation and entrepreneurship. | bprocket
25/1/2019 13:42 | Blue Prism, which went public on the London Stock Exchange in 2016, announced it was raising £100 million (approximately $130 million) by issuing new stock. The announcement comes after reporting significant losses in its most recent fiscal year, which ended in October. While the company’s revenue more than doubled last fiscal year, from £24.5 million (approximately $32 million) in 2017 to £55.2 million (approximately $72 million) in 2018, losses also increased dramatically, from £10.1 million (approximately $13 million) in 2017 to £26.0 million (approximately $34 million), according to reports. DOUBLE THE REVENUE DOUBLE THE LOSS Why is BP acting so weirdly? Shouldnt there be profit when revenue goes up? WtF | fcuky

25/1/2019 11:58 | IC comment today: "'Expansion' is the word that most neatly encapsulates Blue Prism’s (PRSM) full-year numbers. On the one hand, sales soared by 125 per cent, while period-end monthly recurring revenues doubled to £5.6m. PRSM:LSE Blue Prism Group PLC 1mth Today change -3.43% Price (GBP) 1,352.00 But, on the other, losses also widened. Indeed, adjusted cash losses rose from £8.3m to £21.6m, after accelerated investment in global sales and marketing and higher sales commissions over the three months to October – which chief executive Alastair Bathgate said was Blue Prism’s strongest quarter ever. That said, the upcoming adoption of the accounting standard IFRS 15 will mean sales commissions are capitalised and amortised over time, like the revenues to which they relate, which should help improve losses. There was expansion in another sense too: net cash climbed by a whopping 210 per cent – supported by last January’s £40m share placing. A further £100m placing, open to institutional investors, coincided with the release of these results and closed within hours. While Mr Bathgate expects half of the proceeds to strengthen the balance sheet, they will also facilitate salesforce spend and research & development (R&D). According to Bloomberg estimates, analysts expect adjusted losses per share of 36.7p for FY2019 (from 39.9p in FY2018). IC View Revenues for FY2019 are expected to be in line with the improved expectations outlined in November. But despite the latest fundraising, the scale of planned investment means cash losses will now exceed previous guidance. The shares fluctuated on results day, but we’re wary of the lofty enterprise-value-to- Last IC View: Hold, 1,934p, 9 Aug 2018 | sogoesit

25/1/2019 08:05 | “Lots of words, little meat”, is my guess. Where else can a futile PI like me invest in RPA or do I just wait til the fabled UiPath and AA come to market with all value taken out? And what are Goldman and CS doing on the share register with purchases at prices in excess of mine? And, by the way, I have a portfolio of growth stocks whereas dblife appears only to be short one stock. Risk management at its worst. | sogoesit
